"I am not trained with any sort of weapon, unfortunately. It simply isn't necessary where I come from to carry any more than pepper spray." Katiyana informed him. "If need be, I will make do with my water and ice."

Aaric sighed and nodded.
"I don't know how to fight. I'm a gamer," Kailen said, shaking his head.

"Great. Looks like it's just us three then," Zoey said, pulling an arrow from her quiver.
They touched down and Zoey was the first off the plane. "Alright, Kailen where too?"

[Raven]

Kailen hopped down followed by Aaric. "North," Kailen answered, pointing. He started down then road to the market.

[Gifted]

People were running in fear and guns were firing. Cops had already shown up at the scene to stop what they thought was a riot, only to get taken over by Danielle as well. People lay bleeding in the streets, in too much pain to get to safety. And in the middle of it all was the girl herself. Long blue strands, at least a dozen, clung to her fingers like spiderwebs and she was laughing a crazed, maniacal laugh as she delighted in the chaos and destruction she was causing. Her eyes gleamed like fire and she was too absorbed to realize they'd come from another direction.

[Raven]

"Split up and surround her," Aaric ordered. "Kailen and I will take the far side. Don't let her see you until we're in position."

[Gifted]

Zoey and Katiyana nodded and split up to cover both sides closer to them. From around a corner Katiyana raised her bow, certain that from where Danielle was standing, she couldn't see her.

"Hm?" The archaic weapon intrigued Danielle. Nobody was just carrying around a bow an arrow... without even facing her or the pppet Danielle had seen her through, she tried to connect her to another strand.
The strand turned red and there was a quick pain in her finger, like she'd been poked hard with a needle. Jerking back, she dropped that and too other strands. She... couldn't hold it? But the only ones that didn't work on...
They'd made new heroes to fight her, then? Why? Why would they do that? She would tear them apart... starting now, of course. She'd have to let go of all these threads, but it was worth it. What powers would she have to play with this time?
She took note of others approaching, trying to hide. Maybe they were with the arrow girl? No matter. She picked one at random and stared at him with a maniacal smile. "Bye bye!" She waved gleefully, and then the blue strands on her fingers vanished as her knees buckled and she slumped over on the ground.

Ryan's eyes widened, and he looked around, alarmed. He started towards her body, hoping he wasn't the one to be targeted. Aaric saw Danielle fall and raised his gun.

Zoey let out a short gasp and shifted back a little, but the reaction was short lived. Danielle blinked, looking around and getting used to the new body as she quickly skimmed through the girls brain. In a moment she had the arrow pulled back and she fired at the boy aiming a gun at her body. "Oooh, shields and arrows? I think I'm gonna like this one!" She giggled.

Aaric only managed to avoid the arrow because he saw her pull it back. "Shit. Of course she took the shields." He kept his gun down after that, keeping cover. Ryan glanced towards Zoey, keeping his knives in their places. He moved forward farther. Kailen noticed and sent a blast towards Zoey, trusting that he wouldn't hurt his friend.

Danielle put up a shield to protect the girl, but her eyes were always on her body. She withdrew another arrow and fired it at Ryan.

Katiyana took advantage of her distraction with Ryan to fire ice at Zoey's back. It wasn't sharp, it was just intended to really hurt.

[Raven]

Lucky for Ryan, he was a bit faster and more flexible than Aaric, but he didn't have quite the head start. The arrow pierced through his arm, bit didn't stick. "Ah!" Ryan cried, dropping into a crouch to provide a smaller target.

[Gifted]

Danielle gave a wicked laugh. "Look at that blood! Oh, how splendid!"
Then she was hit in the back by an icicle.
Danielle stumbled forward, losing her grip on her shield and fighting to maintain her grip on Zoey. She whipped around to look and saw Kat standing there with a triumphant grin. This body was damaged, maybe it was time to switch out.
She stumbled as though she'd momentarily fainted, and then Zoey caught herself. She cast a clearly horrified glance over her shoulder, not realizing the danger was in front of her now.

Kailen and Aaric both looked at Danielle's body, but Ryan looked at Kat. "Zoey, behind you!"

Aaric one again tried to shoot Danielle, figuring no shields, and maybe it would take her a minute to be able to stop him.

Zoey looked back around, but it didn't matter. Aaric's shot forced Danielle to defend herself. A thick ice sheet shot up in front, was hit by the bullet and re-froze around it. Zoey, grateful for Aaric distracting Danielle, used her own attack, throwing her shield out and blasting Kat's body back with it. Danielle was thrown back, and Zoey smirked. No way she'd be getting out of that one.

She was wrong. A slanted sheet of ice rose up behind Kat's flying form and caught her heel as it rose upward. She caught the ice and skidded, her momentum carrying her up the wave and over, completely changing the direction so she flew off like it was a ramp and was sent fling above their heads. With a huge grin on Kat's face and another cackling laugh, she threw handfuls of icicles at them, one at Zoey and then two simultaneously at Aaric and Ryan. As she landed another ramp of ice rose to met her, which she skidded down, sending tiny ice shavings in her wake, until she slowed enough that she jumped off the ramp and landed gracefully in front of her body, protecting it.

Zoey cried out in pain as she took several spikes to the arm, which she'd thrown up to make a shield but didn't make it and only just barely managed to protect her eyes, and one that hit her stomach.
