"I live an hour away from Seattle," Kailen answered, tensely.

"Right here," Aaric said, climbing the rest of the stairs.

"Good." Xander said when they were all there. He pulled up footage coming from the ground. "The puppeteer is causing a riot at the Seattle Marketplace." He told the as they watched her standing in the middle of terrified, fleeing civilians. there were long, blue-silver strands that clung to her fingers like spiderwebs. She pulled at them with grace and dexterity, like flying a kite or conducting an orchestra. The was a wild, terrifying grin on her face as she played with her strings, pulling and directing her people puppets with her bright blue threads. Her puppets were attacking fleeing civilians and demolishing the wares and the building.
"We're letting you off about two blocks away. Kailen knows the city. And Kailen, we've already sent ground men to your house to check on your house. They're still at home, and ok. They won't be caught in the crossfire."

[Raven]

Kailen breathed again, relieved. The music started again. "Thank you. I'll be able to show them where we need to go... How exactly are we landing this thing without drawing attention? Isn't it huge?"

[Gifted]

"There are smaller planes aboard we'll use to take you to the ground." Xander explained.

[Raven]

"Oh. Alright." Smaller planes on board. Of course. Kailen shook his head. "So how are we going to do this?"

[Gifted]

"Mr. Xavier," Katiyana spoke up politely as she looked over to Xander. "Is there a way to disconnect her from the people she is using as puppets?"
Xander smiled, pleased someone was asking the right questions. "Sort of. She often fumbles and loses her grip when the puppet is injured or she is injured. However, the less she's holding, the less likely it is to happen. Also, if she's possessing one of you." He glanced at Ryan, since he was the only one who knew exactly what he was talking about. "Any touch to her body will immediately return her to it as a safety mechanism."

[Raven]

"Possessing us?" Aaric asked.
"She can't use us as puppets, but she can leave her body and occupy ours, leaving her defenseless. I think it would be a good idea for us to try to use that to kill her before she knows anything about us."

[Gifted]

Xander nodded. "Plane's ready to leave. Down that hall, second door on the right." he pointed to a hallway.

[Raven]

"You're staying up here?" Kailen asked, as the others started moving.

[Gifted]

Xander nodded. "I'll be your connection to the men up here. The pilot will give you our means of communication while you're on the ground."

[Raven]

"Alright, see you later then." Kailen ran after the others and they all boarded the plane.

The pilot did indeed have little communicators they could put into their ear to talk back and forth with the main ship. He gave each person one and then flew off, flying them into Seattle.

"So when we get there, I think we should split up and get closer. One of us might get possessed, and the others can go in to finish her," Ryan said.

[Gifted]

"Sounds good to me," Zoey agreed.

[Raven]

Aaric glanced at him. "It's a plan. We'll see if it works. Did Kailen or Kat ever get a weapon?"
