Ryan went for Aaric, figuring he would be less unhappy about this if they got him sooner rather than later. The adapter actually flinched at the sound of a gunshot as they opened the door. Aaric hadn't heard the knock due to the earplugs he wore. He was firing and trying to shape the energy of the bullet to turn it for a more accurate shot.

"Any idea where to?" Aaric tried to hide his annoyance that Xander hadn't come to him.
"Seattle, he said," Ryan answered, glancing at the gun.
Aaric nodded. "Let's get the others, then head upstairs. I'll get Kat if you two get Kailen."

Aaric nodded once. "Yeah." He headed off to Kat's room, knocking as he opened the door, almost as an afterthought.
Ryan glanced at Zoey and went to Kailen's room, but he hung back since Zoey was the one with a shield.

Zoey knocked on the door. "Kailen? We're leaving now!"
Kat was standing in a room shooting targets while dodging or using her ice to block return fire. She was holding an ornate staff made of ice, firing from that and when a target came close enough, using it as a meelee weapon. When she noticed Aaric coe in, she imediately stopped and snapped er fingers "System: Power down." The rooms training system immediately shut off.

"You're getting pretty good," Aaric complemented. "We're almost there. We're meeting the others upstairs."
The burst of sound that came out of the room was astonishing, but as soon as Zoey knocked, despite that and the music in his ears, Kailen stopped it all and started for the door. "Alright. Where are the others?" They could hear the music coming from his ear buds when he got close enough.

"Aaric's getting them and we're meeting everyone upstairs." Zoey replied. "Apparently we get to see Seattle!" She was really excited. She'd never left Utah before.
