Nezzera regained her balance quickly and pointed the wand at Jeremy's legs. "Locomotor Mortis," She said calmly, binding his legs together. Then pointing her wand at her stuff she said "Wingardium Leviosa," Her stuff then followed she to the door of the compartment. Grabbing the owl cage in her free hand she said "Well I guess you can stay here. Have fun changing." With that she left the compartment to go find her brother and cousin without giving a second look back to the boy.

It took Jeremy a second to realize what she'd done. "Hey! Put me back!" he called after her.

Nezzera ignored his calls, instead thinking about how she really needed to figure out a proper silencing charm.

Thanks to the help of some of the older students on the train, Jeremiah managed to get dressed just in time to get to Hogwarts. However, he was the last student off the train and had to hurry to catch up to the man calling for the first years.
He was standing on a crate, already explaining the boats. A lantern hung from a pole which he held next to him. He was a short, stout man His head wouldn't show above most of the first years were he standing on level ground with them. He had already explained that he was Logan, the keeper of keys and grounds at Hogwarts, when Jeremy joined the crowd. "First years take boats to the castle, it's a longer trip, but it's much more beautiful. No more than four to a boat, or they'll sink and the squid will eat you. Don't lean too far over the sides, either. Now come on!" He led them to the water's edge and to the boats, carrying his lantern pole so that the students could still tell where he was.

Nezzera waved goody to her brother and made her way onto a boat that had two other girls inside of it. Though Nezzera had planned to jut be quiet during her time at school, after the vent in the train, she realized she might have to make herself out to be social if she didn't want to be blamed. So there she sat, giggling with the two other girls, telling jokes and preparing for the trip the the castle.

"Careful, she's vicious," Jeremy said as he passed, finding another boat to sit in.

The girls looked at Nezzera with a strange look. Her face turned sad and she looked from Jeremy to the girls. She brought her voice to a whisper and said "He wouldn't get out of the room when I need to change and he pushed me against the wall... So I jinxed him and ran away..." The girl looked to each other before giving Jeremy an ugly look. When they couldn't see her face she smirked at him.

Jeremy was already gone, sitting in a boat with two other boys. He watched the water and didn't speak as they glided across to the castle. Once they were there, Logan led the first years up to the Great Hall's side chamber. A middle aged man with curly black hair and a very short beard stood there waiting. "Thank you, Logan. First years, gather round. I'm sure you're all very hungry, and so we ought to get this over with."
Once the first years had gathered in a semi-circle around him, the man spoke again. "I am Professor Cromwell, the vice headmaster of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. Shortly you'll be allowed to sit down with your houses. 'What houses?' you ask? Oh, be patient. Houses here are like your family, you will eat, sleep and learn with your houses, and at the end of the year a house cup is awarded for the best overall house. This is determined by house points. 'Oh, house points? That sounds like such fun!' Trust me, it is, but mostly for the teachers. You see, we get to take away and award points as we see fit. Doing extra or outstanding work will gain you points, misbehaving will lose you points. It is up to the teachers, though, and some teachers may award you for things other teachers may think of something you should do anyway. Between you and me, asking for points is the easiest way to lose them. None of the teachers like a smart alek.
"'Okay, we know about points now, but what about the houses?' Ah, yes. There are four, you see, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. Whatever you think you know about these houses, let me assure you, they're wrong. Any type of wizard can come from any house, the house you sit with may represent certain things, but most people could fit in many, if not all of the houses. Ravenclaw is not for the dim-witted, Slytherin not for the lazy, Gryffindor will never have a coward, and Hufflepuffs are never traitors. However, people who are brave are not always dumb, and so on. I trust you will all be happy wherever you are deemed to fit best. You will be sorted by a hat shortly, and then we may all eat. Wait here." Cromwell entered the great hall, and many of the first years started whispering.
"I can't wait to see what house I'll be in. It's all so exciting," a girl who stood near Nezzera said.

"I'm a bit nervous but I think that's normal," Nezzera said, smiling. Though her words sounded sincere, nothing about this situation made her nervous and, in all honesty, she just wanted it all to be over. The huge ceremony for first years just seemed like a waste.

"What house do you think you'll be in?" the girl asked.
