Prides feet gave way surprisingly easliy, but she had a plan. Rather than just letting her knees hit the floor Pride ducked her head as she feell, her head hitting the floor. She was hoping the sudden jerk that Tabtha wasn't expecting would send her off balance, so Pride could capitalize on it.

Pride jerked around in a swift movementand punched Tabitha in the chest. She was aimin for the face, but hadn't bothered to get off her knees and so fell short. She scrambled to her feet and puled Tabithas hand out of her hair while Tabithas grip was still slack.

Mary glared, irritated. She wondered why the prick wouldn't take the one RIGHT THERE.
Pride was pretty sure Emily was smart enough not to appea, and so made no noise. She knew this was more a bait for herself than anything else, and was fairly sure Emily was smart enough to keep herself out of trouble.
