Tabitha nodded. "If you say so. What would I know? I was a criminal before I came here." She turned to the door. "I'll see you later, Tony." And left, going straight upstairs. He was too foggy to stop her from screwing with his little pet.
"Pride?" she called from the door.

"And why's that?" Pride asked, still not moving. This time, she wasn't aunting Tabitha, though she made it sound like she was. She honestly was just asking. Tony would kill Tabitha if she took Pride in for testing, that she knew. As his one sucessful expiriment, Tony would be livid if anyone interfered with his data.
But why else could Tabitha want her?

Pride obviously wasn't hurt, but shocked. She squirmed and reached up to grab Tabithas arm and pull her off.

Pride didn't even notice, applying more force back than she should be able to, because she couldn't feel her muscles screaming in protest.
