Preston looked at Vixie. "If I tell you something will you come?" Vixie didn't answer. "I knew your family before the accident. I don't mean the family you took the name of, either."
Vixie's eyes widened and she stood. "How do I know you're not lying?" she asked, but it was obvious that even if he didn't have an answer, she was going to follow him.
"Because I knew that De Buren wasn't your real name?" Preston pointed out.
Vixie frowned. "Oh... Yeah..."
Preston smirked at Pride. "And now, we'll be going," he said.

Preston walked towards the door. Vixie glanced at Pride. "Sorry," she mouthed. "I have to find out if he knows anything." She followed Preston at a distance.

Pride shrugged, but you could tell she wasn't happy aout this. She turned and went back to her room.

It was hours before Vixie returned. There weren't any physical signs of abuse, but she was shaking badly. Her expression made her look as if she was watching something terrible.

Pride ran in as soon as sheheard Vixie being brought in. "Vixie!" She said. "You okay??" She'd known many people who'd had a nervous breakdown after coming back from testing for the first time. Including herself.
