My eyes flashed and I spread my wings, leaping into the air. I soared over the trees, gaining altitude, into the clouds.

I sighed and smacked my self in the forehead," I'm an idiot" is all I could think of saying to myself.

I came back down, and landed in a tree a few seconds later. "Stupid males," I muttered.

Vickas went to the tent a laid down, he wasn't particularly hungry, especially after his stupidity earlier.

After about half an hour, I climbed the very highest and spread my wings, gliding as far as I could towards the camp.

The same dog that had come up to Jay wandered over to Vickas, and sat down next to him, begging to be pet.

I sat up and blinked noticing the dog I reached over and gently started petting it and speaking," Hey there, little guy. What made you feel like visiting me?"

The dog seemed to smile as Vickas pet him. He rolled onto his back, paws in the air, belly exposed.

I smiled and spoke as I gently started rubbing its belly," At least I'm not an idiot when it comes to animals."

The dog panted happily as Vickas rubbed his stomach. He didn't understand a word of what he was saying, but the belly rub said enough.

I didn't stop rubbing the dogs belly but thought out loud," I'm talking to an animal......it probably can't even understand me..."

The dog enjoyed the belly rub. After a while, he stood up, and growled. He was looking up at the sky, anticipating Violet's arrival.

I gently patted its snout and reached into my bag giving the dog a bit of meat from my bag, it would spoil soon anyway and it might be hungry.

The dog looked up with a confused expression at Vickas when he patted his snout. But I was doing a good job, figured the dog, warning you of the stranger. His expression turned to one of pure bliss when Vickas pulled out the meat. The dog dug into it, holding it on the ground with one paw and ripping it apart with its sharp canines.

I landed just outside the camp, being extremely quiet. I walked through the camp in the direction of the tent Vickas and I could share. Then I stopped, wondering if I should go back there or sleep outside or something. I sighed and continued until I stood a few yards away from Vickas. I looked down at him and the dog.
