"Okay, what classes do you have? His tears had dried up by this time, and he'd been pelting Kenny with questions through the whole tour. He became frustrated if Kenny couldn't or wouldn't answer.

Kenny did his best to answer all of David's questions. "You'll be required to take math, science, English, history, first aid, home ec, gym, and our power mastery class," he said. "You can also take the advanced psychology class I offer if you'd like, but it might be a bit too complex for you. I'm going to have you take a test to see where you're at for math, science, and English, alright?" As he spoke, he was organizing some papers.

"Power mastery is a class to help students get better at using their abilities. Home ec teaches sewing and cooking, and because it's made for the older students."
