"Thank you." Gri nodded. She wasn't sure why she was telling this girl any of this, except that she reminded Gri of Teal. Which was more a reason to keep her emotion under wraps than the opposite, no matter how much she enjoyed being around that sort of personality.

That made Gri laugh again. "Gri. It's grey in about four different languages, and if you add an s about four more. My parents were cheerful people." She said in a deadpan tone. She'd cracked a similar joke when she first met Teal, though she'd been more animated then. She had to remind herself she was not making friends with this girl.
