Various answers were that Fuchsia was good at dodging, Fuchsia's semblance was cool, Fuchsia sshould have changed up her form more instead of sticking to one to increase her unpredictability, Xanthene was very good at getting around obstacles, also had an awesome semblance, and needed to aim better. None of the comments came from either girls team.

"Good. Gri Ashen, you're the leader of Fushcia's team, what did you think of the fight?"

Gri was taken aback, and stood up. "I think considering some poor strategic choices were made, the fight went very well on our end, and Team TOXN clearly has an extremely capable fighter as well." She answered diplomatically.

"I'm looking for details, Ashen," Scarlet said, pacing towards that side of the classroom.

Gri glanced at an already angry Fuchsia, worried about the fallout if Gri started bad-talking her in front of her. But Professor Sangria had asked for Gri's honest opinion. She sighed. "Simply put, Fuchsia should not have taken that fight. The matchup was the result of poor strategic planning on our parts. Firstly, she came down to the stage first. Any veteran will tell you that wherever possible you never tip your hand first, especially when your opponents are still making the decision of who to send. A cursory glance of your opponent can tell you a great deal, and though Xanthene was on the stage quickly enough I doubt they made a decision by looking Fuchsia over as I would have done, allowing Xanthene to reach the stage first would have brought to light my second point very quickly. Xanthene's primary weapons appeared to be two guns, pistols likely, with knife attachments. That is a primarily short-range-weapon. Xanthene is a short-range fighter, and that is a small stage you are standing on. In such tight quarters, a long-range fighter should not have fought at all, and especially not against a short ranged fight, and thus Xanthene had an enormous advantage the moment she stepped on the battlefield. All in all Fuchsia deciding to take the first fight was an enormously poor strategic decision on her part." She tried to mitigate her criticism then. "However, barring that, Fuchsia dealt with her handicap extremely well. Her choice of semblance was made well, and I believe was the optimal choice for the battle, and she used her cover and weapons effectively. Her loss was not a result of poor skill but simply the extremely uneven matchup she recklessly rushed into."

"Excellent assessment," Scarlet said. "One your team should take into consideration in the future." She looked up at the rest of the class. "You'll each find a small packet of material on your desks. It includes class rules and expectations, as well as your first assignment. I expect it to be completed by tomorrow. You can use the remaining few minutes in class to get started," Scarlet said. "No. Talking. If anyone has any questions, they're welcome to come see me."

Opal giggled. "She totally tore into Fuchsia, that was great." She whispered.
Gri glanced over the package she was given, handed it out to her team, and realized she'd already done this at her old school. she quickly filled in a few of the most difficult questions with the correct answers to prove she could do it, planning to go speak to the teacher once everything settled down.

Xanthene smirked. "It was," she agreed quietly. "But she should be taking charge."
Some of the rules were new, at least, but it was overall more or less the same.

Gri very quickly wrote her answers out and went up to speak to Professor Sangria. "Excuse me? Professor Sangria?"

"I apologize for bothering you. It probably wasn't important enough to mention, but I'm actually a second year student. I was transferred here from Atlas and placed with the first years because it was the only way I would receive a new team." She put the package on the professor's desk. "I've done all this before, and and unable to help my team with the no-talking rule in place. To prove I'm not making this up, I've answered the five questions my classmates last year had the most trouble with in the package. I think you'll find my answers sufficient. I apologize for being a burden, Professor, but is there anything more challenging I could do during class time?"

Scarlet considered her. "For today, please complete this assignment. You can help your teammates if they need it. I'll have separate materials prepared for you by tomorrow."

Gri nodded. "Thank you very much, Professor Sangria." She picked up her package, returned to her place, and began working on it. She was done in fifteen minutes and looked over to the other three. "I was given permission to help the three of you if you need it during class time. I've done this before. Is there anything you're stuck on?" Fuchsia ignored her.

"I am a second year." Gri informed them. "I transferred here from Atlas and was put with the first years due to not having a team. I'll likely be doing different work than the rest of you all semester."
