Xander went to them one at a time. He tarted with Jason, but then skipped over Stephanie (whose parents had apparently taught her basic hand to hand) to enter Awhina's room

Awhina was very good at lip, but she managed to mostly keep her mouth shut through training. "So what's the coolest move you can do?"

She actually aw a bit of a sense of humour out of him; he briefly smiled. "That actually gets into weapons training; I've learned a wide variety of unconventional weapons as well as guns."
