Kenny opened the door, looking like he'd just woken up. "Hey, I just sent Ryan for breakfast," he said.

"Oh, did you? I guess I haven't run into him yet." She said with a soft smile. "I just wanted to make sure the both of you were alright after that nasty storm. I hadn't heard from you and I was worried."

"Oh. Yeah, we're fine. I wanted to get something to eat, we didn't get a chance to last night," Kenny said.

And that was it? No 'I'm glad you're fine too', no 'how is everyone else?', no 'Was there any hit to our resources?', no nothing at all? His main concern was that he himself was hungry? "Great." She answered, forcing a smile. "Well, I have to continue making my rounds. Tell me when you're finished." She nodded respectfully and backed off from the doorway to move on.

"It should be soon. Then we'll be able to move forward."

As she went to talk to people, she found that while things were mostly good, the storm had not been good for morale. The soldiers were happy to see her, but wary of another storm like that one.

Roseanne agreed that the storm had been bad, but once she knew for sure she tried to keep the troops spirits up by pointing out the relatively minor losses of supplies and food - much lower than she would have expected, although she had the tendency to expect the worst with these sorts of things. "It's really the best outcome we could have hoped for in a storm like that. The enemy likely took far more damage than we did. I'm certain there was a god smiling down on us these last few days." She also made a passing comment to many of them that Kenny would be happy to hear people made it out alright, although he hadn't even asked her to tell him. She id it mostly to see if her troops were beginning to feel as poorly towards him as she was.

While they weren't quite as upset with Kenny as Rosanna was, they were disheartened. They seemed to still be glad for him - he was far better than the other Clarks - but secretly disappointed all the same.

Not wanting to ruin anything whether she left or not, Roseanne assured them Kenny was concerned about them, would be happy to know they were alright and was doing his utmost for them even if they didn't see him often. She made her rounds, then went to get something small to eat before heading back to her tent.

Ryan was still in the kitchens when she arrived, though by now he must have been gone much longer than it should have taken him. "Hey, Rosanna," he greeted, smiling.

"Hey, Ryan." She greeted cheerily. Seeing him after so long brightened her day. "Whatve you been doing here so long? I went to speak to Kenny ages ago and he said you were in here. It doesn't take that long to get food." She lightly teased.

"Kenny's got his food and he doesn't need my help right now," Ryan said. "I wanted to talk to everyone, though it's died down a bit now."

"Yeah, it's important to keep in touch with the troops." Roseanne agreed. "I've been making sure everyone got through the storm alright. Thus far it seems like we were extraordinarily lucky."
