Luck did seem to continue in their favour; three days later a letter from Kinsey arrived talking as though nothing had changed at all. Her letter contained all the usual amount of detail, and she didn't even bother to mention Rodrick's sudden support withdrawal. Rosanna would have been suspicious Kinsey may be feeding them misinformation, until she read that the actual information stated that Cassandra had attacked Adam as well. "Oh, well that's simple enough to prove. Mum wouldn't lie to me, I'll just send a letter and ask her."

Kenny nodded. Though he knew misinformation was a skill spies would know, he said, "Go ahead. Rodrick isn't trying to hurt us, he's just not helping... She wouldn't send us bad information, that would be less helpful than simply not sending us anything..."
