"Spill or I'm going upstairs," I said.

[Gifted]

"Fine." I said, but I glanced uneasily at Lynn. I sighed. "Funny thing is it took me like five ten minutes to explain it to him. I can tell you what's going on in one sentence." I leaned in a bit closer. "Does the roleplay name 'Pandemic: Gifted versus the Government' ring any bells?"

[Raven]

"No fucking way," I objected, scowling.

[Gifted]

"One hundred percent way. Name me another roleplay where Sharie and Rick are together, for one. And when they inevitably come for me, watch Victor fight. There's some evidence no one can fake."

[Raven]

"He took me on earlier," Kenny said. "I couldn't beat him."
"And you didn't tell me that from the get go?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at Gifted.

[Gifted]

"Excuse me, I tried to call you about eight times. You wouldn't answer your phone, and neither would this asshole." I pointed at Kenny. "And then you show up with a Kenny, and look fine but you still aren't answering your phone! A. How was I supposed to tell you when you wouldn't talk to me and B. What was I supposed to think after that convergence of events?"

[Raven]

"Cell phones are a thing for a reason. You obviously know how to text," I snapped.

[Gifted]

"I did! It's not my fault you don't look at the damn thing! I begged and begged you to talk to me, I was terrified a fucking Kenny got ahold of you!"

[Raven]

"Dude, I did look at it until it got locked in a fucking safe. You sent me Kenny's number, but you couldn't have typed out eight more letters?"

[Gifted]

"I sent you Kenny's number so you both could meet up and I could explain this shit in person. I didn't exactly expect you to take my word for it. How was I supposed to know you weren't answering because you locked it in a safe? I was in the middle of building a team to take on Xander and Ryan and Kailen at the time, thank you very much. I was a little busy."

[Raven]

"You thought that I was going to believe you more easily when I saw you compiled a team of government agents who are anti-heroes at best and you a-okayed murdering Kailen than if you just texted me the word 'pandemic' before I arrived? Seriously?"

[Gifted]

"No, I expected that you would call Kenny, he'd be like 'hey, Gifted gave me fucking coordinates this time,' you'd go to the place I specified, call me and I would fucking meet you out there. If I texted you, someone could have stole my phone or has me trying to trick you. If I arrange a designated meeting place and tell you both in person, you know I'm not talking shit."

[Raven]

"Really? Someone stole your phone or had you trying to convince me of one specific event they could have no way of knowing without getting the information from you when it's something we touched on for a couple months? Red vs Blue took up at least as much of my stream of consciousness as Pandemic did. Maybe instead of trying to keep so many secrets from everyone you meet here you should try being up front with at least one person."

[Gifted]

"Considering every single time I've been here except the first time I was caught by a Kenny almost immediately, yes I'd say it was a perfectly fucking valid worry. How is it my fault neither of you can pick up a fucking phone? I missed a grand total of one call from either of you, and only started avoiding you when your silence led me to believe you'd been fucking brainwashed." I said defensively.

[Raven]

"Yeah, and we were so eager to strike up a conversation from the person we hadn't heard a word from since we arrived who was working for the government with Francis and Vivian."
