"Let him go!" Ben stepped forward, blocking the guy with the taser. He didn't care if he really would be hurt. "Why the hell don't you monsters just ask me yourselves?"

[Gifted]

"You wouldn't answer us." The man answered. "Josiah, you have one more chance." He held the taser just a little closer to the boy. "Are you going to do it or not?"
Josiah was quivering in fear and looked up at Ben with pleading eyes, as if asking if he was sure he wanted to go through with this.

[Raven]

Ben used his arm to push the man's hand away. "Just ask me, kid."

[Gifted]

Josiah tried to force himself to gather the courage to do it. This is what Ben had said he should do. Besides, he was terrified of being tasered again. He had to do this. Despite his thoughts, he still looked like he was going to cry when he finally forced the question out.
"Where is your sister?"

[Raven]

The guards were right that Ben wouldn't have answered them - though he probably would have lied, and he opened his mouth to do just that but found himself giving a different answer. "There's a cabin outside of Vernal. She lives there."

[Gifted]

Tears started to fall down Josiah's face and one guard turned to the other. "You know what to do." The second guard left, and the first adjusted his grip and pulled Josiah out of the room, who couldn't even look at Ben anymore. As Josiah was dragged back to his cell, Ben heard him in the room next door speak.
"Wait!" He cried. "Are you going to make me do this again to other people?"
The guard, who'd normally have left that ambiguous to scare he boy, hadn't removed the armband yet and so was forced to answer truthfully. "Of course. Helping us find others is the entire reason you're here." The guard removed the armband, made sure both boys were locked up and left Josiah in a corner to sob.

Ben was horrified at what he'd said. Even if he couldn't help it, he'd given up his little sister. And the poor kid had to do it. "Josiah, it's okay. There wasn't anything else for you to do."

[Gifted]

"I'm sorry." Was Josiah's only answer. Ben's poor sister was gong to be caught now... and it was all his fault. This was why he shouldn't talk to people. "My power forces anyone I ask a question to tell me the truth..."

[Raven]

"She'll be okay. She has her husband, and he won't let anything happen to her," Ben assured him, even though he was far from sure of that himself. What could Adam possibly do for his sister?

[Gifted]

Josiah wasn't comforted. He hard a hard time believing anyone could beat them, since his sister had failed. He felt so guilty for forcing Ben to give up his sisters location, and he knew they'd come back for him again, make him do it all over again.

[Raven]

"You couldn't do anything else, Josiah. It's not your fault."

[Gifted]

"I should've told them no." Josiah said, barely loud enough to be heard through the wall. "I should've made sure they couldn't hurt you or your sister."

[Raven]

"They would have just hurt you until you did it," Ben said.

[Gifted]

"So one person gets hurt instead of two."

[Raven]

"You're forgetting about your sister," Ben said.
