Aaric looked around and sighed. "We'll try to stay undercover then. Shooting lessons come later. Go get practicing."
Kailen looked like he might challenge that, but ultimately went to a room. Ryan headed off right away.

Kat immediately went into another room to do so, while Zoey frowned. "I... I'll be right back, okay? I want to ask about something." She ran back in the direction of the stairs.

Aaric followed her, since he intended to talk to Xander as well. He could fight with his power, though the tricks he'd still have to work on.

Zoey ran up to talk to Xander, who was currently conversing with a few of the nameless suits sitting behind computer screens. When he saw her, he looked up in surprise. "Zoey? Shouldn't you be training?"
"Yeah, well we all got talking about possibly using conventional weapons in addition to our powers..."
"You asking for guns? I just didn't assume you knew how since it said nothing in your records about it."
"Yeah, no we can't... but I do a lot of archery back home, and...." She trailed off hopefully.
"I'll see to it you get a bow." Xander nodded curtly.
"Thanks... I know it's not exactly conventional, but it's quieter than a gun."

Aaric smirked. That was a great idea. "There may be something like that for the others, as well. I'd like a gun. I'll talk to the others about it."

"Hey! Not my gun!"
"You can get another one." He handed the holster and gun to Aaric.

Aaric grinned and clipped it on. He was actually getting priority on a gun over a government guy who had actually trained to get it. Awesome. "Thank you. Now, we should probably get going."

Aaric headed down with a new bounce in his step and immediately started trying to use kinetic energy to influence his shots.
Ryan was the next to come up, several minutes later, his hair seeming red, wet as it was. "I think it would be good if she doesn't know my real face. The less she knows the better, right?"
