"I haven't either. Well, I had bertie botts beans once, but not anything else... Umm, it wouldn't be a trouble would it?" Violet asked.

"It is different in Hogwarts. If you're popular in Slytherin, you're pretty much hated everywhere else. If you're popular in Ravenclaw, you're a nerd. If you're popular in Hufflepuff, no one cares. I dunno what everyone thinks about us," Ryan grinned. "So, you'll have to wait to learn til you're sorted, or you'll learn wrong. Cause whatever I teach you, will be wrong in any house but Gryffindor."

August smiled "Of course not, like I said, it'd just be sitting in my pocket collecting dust," She stood up and walked to the trolley getting the Bertie Borts for Nikki, she turned and said "And what did you want violet?"

"U-um... Could I get a chocolate frog? Or a pumpkin pastie?" Violet asked, her eyes widening at all the sweets.

[Sar]

She gave her money to the woman on the trolley. SHe walked to violet and handed her the chocolate frog and the Pumpkin Pastie. She handed the Bertie Botts to Nikki and said "SO only a couple more hours til we arrive. Can't wait for the feast, or the sorting, or anything."

Andrea shrugged. She didn't particularly care what they thought of her ambition. If she had to go out of her way to impress them, it wouldn't be with the truth.

"Thanks so much," Nikki said, taking the box of Bertie Botts as the boys took their seats clutching their candy. The woman with the trolley smiled and left.

Soon she came to Lyn and Ryans compartment. "Anything off the trolley dears?"
Andrea shook her head. She had no wizard gold, either.

"Oh! Oh! Oh!" Eric dug through his pockets once more when the trolley lady came. It took him a few moments, but he eventually produced just enough wizard pocket change for what he wished. He held out the coins to her, and said, "Chocolate frog, please? I've been trying to get that one card for ages..."

Liz looked up at Eric like he was crazy. A chocolate frog? Who in the world would want to eat a chocolate frog?

The woman accepted the money and handed Eric a chocolate frog.

Ryan paid for a box of Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans, several more chocolate frogs, some cockroach clusters, three licorice wands, then turned back to the trolly. "Lynn, Liz, Andrea, what would you like?" he asked.

"I grew up in a muggle orphanage, I don't know any of those sweets. I'm assuming that's not an orinary box of jellybeans you're holding. But thanks for the offer." Andrea sighed, wishing she'd had prior expirience with the mundane things. Oh well, that's what the train ride was for, she supposed.

Liz leaned over to watch her brother with the chocolate frog. He opened the confection, only to have it leap onto Liz's face. Liz squealed in surprise and swiped it off. Eric caught it in his hands, then glanced down at the trading card. "Darn it!" he exclaimed, "Still not Harry Potter!"

Liz looked up at Ryan. She honestly had no idea what anything tasted like. The little girl just shrugged her shoulders.

"Well, what types of muggle candy do you like?" Ryan asked.

"Thank you, thank you." Violet ate the cauldron first, holding the frog on her lap. "When do we change into our robes?"

Jenna sighed and sat back, looking at Rodrik, who was fixing his hair. "What are you doing? We're just on a train. We won't be going to a wedding party." she turned to Astin and nodded with a smile.

Andrea shrugged. "M&Ms or like... Starburst. Chocolate, mainly."

"I like jelly beans, I guess," Liz replied quietly. Eric couldn't help but smirk. He knew where this was going.
