Appearance: ((I've only got one actual ginger in the whole site, and it's a future description of me. XD)) She has bright red hair, and green eyes, that hold many a mystery, and stand out more than others. Her bodtype has not yet grown any curves, but is not chubby, for now, she is tooo skinny and bony, and looks like a stick figure. She usually wears her hair in a messy bun, to keep the curls from popping out.

Wand: Cherry wood, unicorn tail hair, 12'' The whole wand has beautiful scenes carved into it of mystical creatures.
Personality: Snappy, cool and collected. She can explode in anger. She is nice to other houses, though.
Any Additonal info: Her family wasn't very happy at the fact that she got into Ravenclaw, as she was the first. Genevieve may have gotten into Griffindor, but Ravenclaw happened to be best suited.

Appearance: A short, portly, man. He has greying hair, that looks a bit like Albert Einstein. He wears glasses.

Appearance: Boy with a strong, noble, build. He has brown hair, and blue eyes. He had always been better looking than his sister. He keeps his hair short, and well-kept.

Personality: Noble, arrogant, and is afraid of nothing. He believes his sister Genevieve is a failure.

Wand: Ashwood and Unicorn tail hair. Seven inches. Flexible. Her wand is unusually coloured, light blue with a white handle.
Personality: A little bit of a loner streak, but mostly just not confident around others. Very curious and a bit adventerous. Hesitant to break rules.
Any Additional info: Mom is an electrician and dad is a scientist, so she knows a little more about science than an average person. Not that it matters.

Appearance: Fairly average height, with long platinum blond hair that goes about three inches past her shoulders. Blue-green eyes and full lips.

Personality: Does whatever most benifits her. Never at the top, but always has tons of influence.
Any Additional info: She tells people she's half-blood, but really has no idea. She just moved to england a few months before she got the letter, so she really has no idea where anything is around town and is really bad with directions.

Appearence: Not that much shorter than most but still appears stunted. long dark brown hair and brown eyes. Pale and scared-looking, but with a mischevious grin.

Personality: His role models are the Weasley twins. Does that tell you enough?
He's a more cautious and less confident than his brother, and is always worried about how his and his brothers antics will affect their grades, but his brother can usually trick him into being his more mischevious self.

He's more confident and less cautious than his brother, and finds his brothers constant worry about his grades annoying. Nevertheless, he knows all his tricks are better with his brother tanner to help him along.

Appearence: Super straght grey hair under a straw hat. Beady blue eyes, and lips always pressed into a hard line. Wears a gardeners apron all the time and white gloves.

How long they've been teaching: Twenty five years. Only four years here, however, she used to teach at Durmstrang.

Personality: Stands no nonsense from her students, very strict but fair. Very generous with handing points for their houses to smart students.

Appearance: Young african american woman with really short brown hair and green eyes.

Personality: Very nice and patient with the students. Rarely yells, and often shocks people when she does.

Appearance: Very long Brown hair, she's short for her age but her hair goes beyond the end of her back, She has deep dark green eyes, she has a small build like the other woman in her family

Personality: When you first meet her she is just friendly and optimistic. Trying to make friends in whichever way she can. When she used to be home alone all the time she was lonely so she does anything to make friends. She has some quirks to her that people get to know if they actually spend more than a couple hours with her.

Ryan hung back from his family as they said goodbye. He wouldn't be getting the same farewell, as he was never the favorite. Then he got put in Gryffindor. So, he just stood by the carts, wishing he'd see someone he knew.
"You-you'll write, won't you?" Lynn asked uncertainly.
"Of course, sweetie," her father answered, kissing her forehead. The eleven-year-old was then hugged by her mother. This was the most affection they'd ever shown in public. She wasn't sure how to react to it.

Meanwhile, Violet's father was hurrying to the station to drop off his first and only child for the train to Hogwarts. "You have everything you need?" he asked hurriedly.
"Yes, Daddy, you've asked me that like five times..."
"I just want to make sure... You have food for your pet owl? I forgot his name.."
"It's Soren, Dad, like from that book I read. Remember?"
"Well, yes, now I do..." Her father sighed. "I'll miss you."
"I'll miss you too, Daddy.. WATCH OUT!" Her muggle father swerved the car to avoid hitting a cat. "Dad, keep your eyes on the road..." He nodded and did so.

"Mom, calm down. It's magic, it's supposed to be weird," Nikki said patiently as they got out of the car.
"But I'm telling you, there is no Platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross station!" Her mom said worriedly. "And I checked the listings, it says there is no train that leaves at 11 o'clock today!"
"Maybe," Nikki's dad said, adjusting his glasses and hauling her school things out of the trunk of the car. "It's like that pub that teacher showed us into. What did they call it? The Leaky Cauldron?"
"Exactly!" Nikki grinned. "We'd never seen it before, right? It was completley invisible until we looked for it. Maybe platform nine and three-quarters works the same way. Or maybe it's like the wall into Diagon Alley, that looks normal until you tab the right brick? It's okay, mom. We'll figure it out."
"I still don't see why the teacher couldn't have told you how to get onto the platform before she just dissappeared." Nikki's mother grumbled as she went to grab a trolley. Nikki started loading her things onto the cart.
"I don't know, she probably had more important things to do then answer my questions," Nikki frowned.
"Come on Nikola," Her dad said, using her full name which she hated. "If we stand around arguing you'll miss you train,"
Nikki knew her dad was right, so the two walked together to the barriers between platform 9 and platform 10.

"It's not here! Nikki, it's not here!" Her mom fretted. "Oh, if Nikki misses her train..."
"Be quiet mom," Nikki said hurriedly. "Muggles arent supposed to know, remember? Just, calm down. We've just got to... find someone who's done this before," She sounded as if she were trying to convince herself as much as her mother. "Yeah that's it. Somebody who already knows how to get onto the platform. Does anyone around here look off to you?"
"there," Her dad said, and Nikki marvelled at his confidence. "They're saying goodbye, see? They must know."
"Nikki dear, do you have your cell phone? And your robes and things?" They'd bought Nikki a cell phone when they'd heard she'd be away most of the year, wanting to be able to communicate. She'd asked for an owl, but they'd refused, wanting instant communication.
"Yes mom, I've got everything."
"Alright, I want you to call me once you get there, alright?"
"Sweetie, why don't you go ask them?" Her father said, rescuing her. "You will want to make some friends at school, and this as good a place as any to start," He knew she would've asked him to do it had he not added that on.
Nikki sighed. "Okay, dad."
"Bye sweetie. We've given you a little leaving present, you'll find it in your trunk on top of your other things."
"thanks"
"Goodbye honey!" her mom looked to be on the verge of tears, and Nikki was quite glad when her father steered her mom out of the train station. She took a deep breath to compose herself, then went up to the boy who seemed apart from the farewells.
"Excuse me?"

"Yes?" Ryan asked, looking down at her. He had no idea she was a witch. He'd never been much of a guesser.

"Um... it's just... I erm..." She sighed. "I don't know how to get onto the platform," she said it in a rush.

Genevive ran after her idiot brother, who was much faster than her. She glared, muttering a curse, not the magical type. She lost her balance and fell over, her luggage toppling on her. She groaned, trying to get up.

"Well, the platform's right there, you just walk over there, it's not that ha- ohhh." Ryan laughed at his own silliness. "You mean platform nine and three quarters, right?" he asked.
