I breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank gosh." I looked over to Raven. "Assuming it hasn't changed, where would you say the safest place is to head?"
Oh, she didn't worry me too much. If we'd had to travel with her much longer I'dve taken her aside I told her we knew and she wasn't going to get anywhere with us I know how to handle her, so she's not a problem.

Skyler looked at Katrina, examining her closely. He wouldn't put it past anyone to make an innocent looking creation, and what's more innocent then a pregnant woman. Yes, he was suspicious but he hid it, not having many choices himself. "Well this is Sar," Skyler took me by the shoulder and gently brought me over. "She's been sick for a while but if you can do anything to help her get better, we would both be grateful,"

Seamus! Seriously! I snapped. Fuck, man, why are you so bloodthirsty? I thought you were the good guy.

"Uh, assuming nothing's changed, the nearest town is miles away... And if the course of events are going to be the same, we probably need to get moving," Raven said, tugging Gifted farther into the foliage.

I nodded. "Best to get as far away from them as possible, anyway. I don't remember any of Skylers limitations." I followed, glancing uneasily behind us as we went.

It's a contract thing Seamus told his host My life is based off of protecting you and everything that is a threat I think kill. "That isn't why," Raven said quietly. She kept glancing around nervously, as though waiting for someone to pop out and scream.

Katrina nodded and smiled at her. "Can you describe what's wrong? It will help me fix it faster."

Yeah, well ima be really mad if you kill anyone before I specifically give the ok. Severely wounded is okay, but no killing, okay? Despite this, I sounded pacified.
"I figured that, but that's a reason too." I told Raven. "What're you worried about?"

"It's be easier to say what aren't symptoms," I joked but quickly became silent when Skyler sharply looked at me.

"Well," Skyler spoke "Numbness in limbs, dizziness, headaches, blood when coughing, constant joint pain," He paused to think "There are a few others, but they're more flu symptoms caused by a weakened immune system,"

How do you think Rave would react if you just came out with no warning? I pointed out the obvious. I know it's not really fair, but... it's just easier to explain if you're not around. How am I supposed to explain how similar-looking you are to Skyler when I just convinced her Skyler wasn't trustworthy? Not to mention it sounds like something bads going on. Let's wait till a cooler moment to introduce you, if at all. I'd really rather not make things harder than they are. Sorry...

Yes because keeping secrets until later always make things better instead of explaining them right away. That has never cause any misunderstandings in history, Seamus sighed as he started to float through his hosts thoughts, I guess I can just have fun living through your childhood memories. You know when to call me if you need a parlor trick, He knew he wouldn't be more then a thought away but he wanted to seem distant from the girl, becoming on edge as he was fading.

I rolled my eyes at him. Raven was my friend, and I didn't want to lose her when I'd already had to leave Sar behind.

Ryan met Lizabeth, they fell in love, had kids who had kids who had kids... But before that, there was Katrina. She's fat enough that this could be as little as minutes before she was shot by an archer, in that meadow. I just don't want to run into the archer."

Katrina nodded. "Has anyone else looked at it before?"

((Nope ))"That awkward moment when the archer turns out to be Francis" I said, and almost burst out laughing.

"Impossible. The archer was Katrina's brother. I never really decided whether he was aiming for Ryan or Katrina," Raven said.
