We had all done it. Each person at some point of their life had created another from nothing. From an imaginary friend to combat the loneliness of childhood, or a character to fill a role in a story, every human has been a creator. These creations are an interesting concept. When a living being is born they exist until death. You see a child grow but these fictional creations remain frozen and abandoned in a forgotten memory after their use.
Or do they?
It had seemed just like any other night on the the forum. Friends talking, discussing life problems and of course, writing. Through out the week members had posted online about weird events happening near them. Suspicious bodies found near by, freak weather, irregularities in animal actions but of course, they all shrugged it off, this forum was an escape, not a place to concentrate on the world's issues. If one would have paid more attention to these accident they may have noticed that they were the ones that created them.
The night went on and they all logged off and went to sleep. They woke up in their beds and went on to participate in another weekend.
That's when it happened. Some it was while walking to school, others while walking to class, but slowly all of the writers "glitched out". How it happened? That is still a mystery.
They appear in a forest, each alone but not to far from each other. This world isn't just forest, this world is the combined minds and imaginations of all the creators. Every creation, every setting, every thought, all combined to create one singular world.
Survival is one thing, but the question is; Can you face your creations?

It hadn't been a painful experience. In all reality, it seemed to just be another day. The sickness hid the main symptoms of glitching out, it seemed. The dizziness, headaches, momentary loss of vision, those had been occurring for months, how was she to notice a change when there was no change. She remembered reading something about glitching a long time ago. Was it a real book or just a fan fic? It was sad when your literary knowledge became so intertwined with your ammeter scribbles.
It had started like and other day. Wake up, take out the dog, take meds, primp for the audience of one, breakfast, another med and then finally a walk. She had slipped on her coat and readjusted her bright red bracelet that boldly stated "ALLERGY" on it. With a grimace she locked the door, walked down the side walk and then glitched out.
When her vision was able to focus on what was around her she was of course in shock. People don't just teleport, they don't just disappear and reappear somewhere else. To modern physics that was impossible. Her looks turned to something different, it seemed like as she looked around she wasn't scared but confused. She had been here before. A long time ago. It wasn't like a dream world. It was to real for that. It reminded of her of a place they had created. A place she had shared with them for months..
"No. That's impossible." she said allowed to herself. Silence. Perfect silence.
"Not again,"

It was an average morning for me. Fox woke me up with my good morning text long before I wanted to be awake (5:30 on the dot), I answered, she told me to go back to bed, I did. Then my alarm went off, I turned it off and returned to sleep for a planned extra hour, my cat in my arms. I didn't feel well, maybe I could convince my mother to let me stay home from school. The day before I had almost blacked out in gym, after all.
I didn't even register a change in scenery, really. It was like a dream. For me, a dream like this wouldn't be odd. Or, if it were, it would only be odd for the lack of color. I didn't really register how I got there, of course I wouldn't know. I was just there. In fact, the strangest part about this was the lack of excitement, the lack of buzz. And most importantly, the feeling of knowing that there was no beginning. I was just there. That isn't a feeling you get in a dream. The thing that really alerted me (or rather, got me to open my eyes in search of an extra blanket) was the wind. There wasn't an extra blanket. I was lucky I had the ones I did (though admittedly I regretted having my new quilt in the middle of the woods). A shiver coursed through me and I simply tugged my blankets closer, reaching for my phone. Why would I think it would be there? I don't have a clue. All I know is that it wasn't there. And this pissed me off enough to get me out of bed (or rather out of the blankets that were left of my bed). I had just introduced a new character to my chat play and had been really excited to play him. Now I couldn't. How dare whatever this was interrupt my role playing. My fist didn't make much of a mark on the tree I hit, but I certainly marked my knuckles.

Just a normal day in the local Walmart was how it started. Having gone of on her own to find a forgotten item on the list, but having no luck thus far. Seeing no reason not to, she put on her MP3 Player and chose the ‘Happyface song’ she ripped from youtube sometime back. She noticed a few odd stares and even a few people shrugging away from her as she walked by. She didn’t care though, she was going to dress how she wanted, in her usual outfit of a black cat hat, jeans, a t-shirt with a wolf silhouetted by a full moon, goldish cat bell with a red string, and a Victorian styled leather trench coat she found at the local thrift. She was half skipping down the bread aisle when she glitched out.
It took about five more feet for her to stop in her tracks. Confused she glanced around at the mute surroundings, the quickly took out the earbuds deafening her. “Oh wow... Did I finally go completely insane?” she mutters then glances up. Through the trees she spots three familiar moons, familiar to her at least. If she was right there were two more just out of site. “Yeeeep~” she said looking back down to the forest. “Completely insane.”

I hadn't thought much about the torture and homicide of a teenage boy in the area. I had no time for the news. I was creating Vivian. Had I bothered to listen to the news, I would've heard how the boy was lured by a voice deep in the forest around the cemetery, a forest me and Rhodesia had explored so often. I would've heard that he was held bound and gagged for several hours before being killed. And I would've locked Vivian away and never pulled her out again. The similarities would've bothered me too much. I put a lot of work into Vivian. She was the first of my characters who was over the top, flashy looking. i didn't want her to be looked at like a scene or something, because she reflected on me. But despite her psycho looks, and frankly act, I pressed on with her. I was writing her intro on paper when I glitched out. I knew it would disturb my English teacher. I just didn't care. "Quickly, quickly, come as fast as your small legs can carry you in the dark. Come on, come on, it'll be fun, let's play a game, on your mark." That's when my paper disappeared. I looked up, shocked. How was I in a forest? Not even the kind you found around my home... I was studying biology in science, and I was positive this wasn't even the right biome. It was dark. I walked until I found a clearing and looked up at the sky, wanting to see how many stars I could see to find if I was near city our not. What I saw instead were moons. One, two, there, four... five! No. No this couldn't be right. The only place I'd ever heard of with exactly five moons was... No. How could I possibly be on Gilese? It wasn't even a real place! I would've thought this was a dream, but I'd never fallen asleep in English class before. Falling asleep in English class and having an actual dream that was about the chatplay was a billion-to-one chance. I never dreamt about the chatplay. Ever. Maybe this was the story I'd never written and I was supposed to take Sparrow to the caves so Alfred could fetch her and then I find Rave... Dammit that doesn't work either. That one was supposed to start with me meeting her in person, and even if I had, the entire plot hinged me not realissing it's Alfred, which since I wrote the story I clearly wasn't dumb enough to do. Ok, calm down. Until you figure out what's going on here just... pretend you're in a chatplay. Yeah! Ok, so you've been randomly transported to Gilese, you don't know how you got there, and Sparrow isn't around. What do you do? Transform, duh. Well I can't do that, obviously... let's say.. let's say my throats shot. And you don't have your assassins gear on you? Nice. Shut up you aren't helping! Yes, I just told myself to shut up, deal with it. Ok... check for dragons, the Elect, THEM people, Jack, Weatherman... holy cow, never until right now did I actually appreciate how freaking dangerous a gilisean forest is. I oughta bug Sparrow about that when I get home. Zip up your jacket. it's freakin cold. I zipped my black goose down jacket up to my throat, and tried to listen for any sinister activity. When I heard none, I stood up and began walking through the forest, debating if running into THEM was even a bad thing.

From within the trees, there came an echoing tapping sound. It sounded almost like a bell being hit repeatedly with a chisel. (( for anyone who wants to explore the noise ))

"Well... I'm completely lost." I say while looking side to side. "On the plus side though.... I'm insane. So it's all good. ...Yeah." I grab my catbell to silence its ring, but find the sound continues. Cautiously I look in its direction. Ominous bell ringing in a make-believe forest? Sounds like a good place to start. "No pun intended." I tag on to settle my nerves. With that I go off in search of its source, doing my best to walk silently over the forest floor. While walking I'm sure to remove the headphone wires from my mp3 player and wrap them around my hand. Safety first... Gosh I hope Jack isn't around. The thought is followed by a shiver. Why did I make so many horror characters? The thoughts of how much of the landscape seemed alien, apart from Gilese, is distracting. Seemingly my thoughts arn't the only ones that popped up here. But if that was the case... What types of things would I run into?

Sparrow didn't have to wander far before she would find a bright red stone. It was perfectly smooth, and too pretty to be a normal rock. The sound seemed to be coming from it.

“OMG.... A singing rock. ....” I blurt out after fining the strange object. Hesitantly I get closer to it. Don’t do it! Don’t you know this is the part of the movie where something bad happens? I know but. No BUTS. No! Don’t touch it! Shut up brain. Nu-uh. Fine. I continue to watch the rock anyway.

Just then a sound can be heard a little ways away from Raven in the trees. It sounded as if somebody was close.

The singing rock as Sparrow so aptly named it rolled to its side. It was a long oval shape, in the dark the red looked almost like blood.
I spun around, still not exactly sure where I was. The place seemed almost familiar, but I was certain I had never been here before. Neither the familiarity nor the surity relaxed me, though. If anything, it made me more jumpy. Maybe it was just the odd feeling I got from being here. Maybe it reminded me too much of that Lie to Me episode with the serial killer college student. Or maybe the memory really was there, and I knew where I was without putting a name or a date to a place. My eyes, instantaniously adjusted to the dark as always, searched the trees in front of me for any sign of movement, any odd shape or angle, any color that didn't belong.

High in the canopy above, a pair of green cat-like eyes watch Gifted curiously. Seeing another living being causes him to smile, though it seems disproportionate. Being too wide for his face and more like a bear-trap then anything. Silently the figure follows from above, blinking in and out of ‘reality’ to pass branch to branch. Why did he bother doing this? After all he could levitate. But fading in and out of existence seemed like more fun. After a few more passes his sleeve catches on a branch forcing him to stop and unstick it. Maybe if he folded his sleeves they wouldn’t be so quick to get in the way. But he refused this, thinking it annoying. So to compensate for the overly long sleeves, which closely resemble a straightjacket but have more design with purple and green stripes, he had cut holes out for his fingers. The rest of his outfit was a blue-gray base of the jacket and pants, with patches of varied color randomly placed. Besides the neon colors the outfit blended into the tree line well enough. And his ash-black hair helped hide his eyes. Though he’d never been one to hide out for very long. He sits on a branch and watches Gifted for several minutes before speaking in a chiming tone “Hello down there. Problems?”

I jumped. I saw the thing and tried to scan my brain for descriptions that matched this creature. I couldn't think of any. "No," I said, and began walking, keeping my eye on the thing. A sillouette could be seen just barely through the trees, a black shape of a person who'd fallen. She got to her feet. Apparently, she hadn't noticed someone had noticed her.

I hesitated before deciding to call out from a distance. "Hey, need any help?" I cried loud enough for them to hear, but I hoped not loud enough for it to carry very far.

“Oh come now. I’m not frightening to you am I?” the figure asks with a tilt of his head. He keeps a fixed watch on Gifted, watching her unblinkingly. “No, that can’t be. After all, you don’t even know me do you? ... Which goes the same for me to you. ...Who are you?” he tilts to the side at the question, nearly enough to fall out of the tree.
- “Oh great... A bloody rock. That’s just keen, yes?” I stare at the odd rock, wondering whose mind it had been spat from. Cautiously I walk over to it. After a second I spot a stick. “Okay, I got it now.” Quickly I pick up the stick and poke the rock with it.
