"Wrong once again," Tabitha said in a sing-song voice.

"What the heck?" Mary snapped. "My logic was sound!" She re-read the question. "Maybe it's a trick question. There isn't enough information to know how many are going one way and how many the other way... so... there isn't a definitive answer?" She sounded less sure of herself now.

"What the heck! Susie, some help here?" Perhaps you should try looking at only the things that would definatley be found at a fair. That would only leave the two jugglers and the bear "So you're saying the answer is three?"

Tabitha waited for her to say her answer was three.

"That doesn't sound right... it doesn't have any logic in it at all..." Mary looked truly worried for the first time since she'd been in there. Hey, I'm just trying to help! "It's okay, fine, just shut up.... Think Mary, think... How many people are definatley at the fair? Well, your definatley there so maybe the answer was thirty seven, not thirty six... WWait! You are definatley at the fair!" She snapped. She had suddenly got it. "Like I thought origanally, the group could be coming towards you, but thew riddle doesn't say for sure. sothertes no definatley about ANY of them. But if you are going to the fair, that means you'll definatley be at the fair. So the answer is one! ONE!" She grinned. She was SURE she had it.

"About time," Tabitha congratulated her. "The last riddle is to find and open the door. To find it, use a common saying that can be related, somewhat, to pirate maps. To open it, use this poem. The sun rises when we meet, and when the wind blows, you will know my heart."

"A common saying that can be related to pirate maps.. what the heck?" Mary didn't know anything about pirates. Well she did, but she didn't care enough to remember that sort of thing. "And your poems lame, it doesn't rhyme," she added.

"Poem, riddle, extremely short story," Tabitha said, not caring. She sounded bored.

"hmmm... well I may as well start with the obvious," she said, and surveyed the room carefully, looking for something.

There were many elaborate decorations on the walls. There were a few lines that could pass as an X, but one stood out from the others. It crossed just left of the door.

"Okay before I walk into a trap," She narrowed her eyes. She wished she knew which way was east.

There was no way to know which way was east, and the X just sat there.

Mary sighed. "Welll sun rises in the east... but that cant be right otherwise I'd be able to have some way to tell... well I have to start somewhere," She approached the X on the wall and ran her hand up and down the wall near and on top of the X, trying to feel a door ora handle or SOMETHING under it other than smooth wall.

The wall paper split beneath her hand. There was a hole in the wall. Placed in the hole was a box. On the top of the box was a depiction of an extremely elaborate X.
