Lost Island and Human Testing

There was no noise and it was so dark, it was impossible to see.

"Stupid, waste of the quarter," Mary dashed down the left hand side, planning to retrieve the quarter as she passed.

[Raven]

There was a sign planted in the ground. It read, "You didn't choose the right side." Mary fell through the floor, which was intentionally weak.

[Gifted]

Mary gasped and grabbed at the edge of the floor, planning to pull herself up. ALl her fighting had given her strong arms and good reflexes, but would it be enough?

There was a narrow ledge that was just enough for her to hold on to, but not nearly enough to climb up on. To survive, she would have to edge along to the start of the path.

"Ugh, how unbelievably annoyijng," she muttered. Her balance wasn't the greatest. "Yo Susie, think you can convince Hillary to come out here?"
And put Hillary in danger? NO way!
"Susie, if I'm -we're- going to survive this, we need to creep along this ledge until I get back to the fork. As much as I hate to admit it, Hillary's going to do a better job than me. She's a tightrope walker, she's good at this stuff."
How do you expect me to trust you?
"Look, anything I do in here to hurt Hillary would hurt me too. We're all in the same boat now. And unless my memory is mistaken, YOU got us into this mess. So help me out here!"
....oh fine. But as soon as she's done you're coming foreward again, got that?

Hailey looked around at their predicament. Then she smiled. Using her feet, she pushed on the wall and did a backflip. SHE slammed her palms on the wall and skidded down, landing on the edge and not falling off. SHe kept her now road rashed hands on the wall to keep her balance, but this ex tightrope walker didn't need it.

((Hailey's hitory: She's the origanal owner of the body and used to work at the circus as an acrobat and tightrope walker. The idiot who does matenience forgot to replace her rope when it got worn, so one day it snapped. SHe sustained no injuries... except on the way to the ground she hit her neck a lower down tightrope belonging to a guy who rode a unicycle accross it, so twas really close to the ground, and her windpipe got smashed in. DOctors repaired it but Hailey got her other two personality's while she was in the hospitle and as far as Hailey knows the wound never healed. So thats why she's mute.))

When they got to the other side, their only choice was to backtrack farther or go right.

[Gifted]

Hillary immeaditley left, Mary taking over again. "Thanks Hillary," She muttered grudgingly.
Assuming the sign meant right was goo, she walked down the right hand path.

[Raven]

There were four paths with a sign next to each, read from left to right, they went, "Death", "Life", "Choose this", and "Hell."

[Gifted]

Mary narrowed her eyes. Was this supposed to be funny?
Death and HEll were out, obviously. But should she go to 'choose this' and hope it led out, since she did what it asked? Or should she choose 'Life' since she wanted to stay alive?
She wished she had something else to throw. But that quarter had fallen through the floor that collapsed.

A series of barking came from behind them, deep and threatening.

[Gifted]

Mary looked back worriedly. The whole idea of this was to not let her think. Same with the hot coals at the first place and a timer at the second. She looked back at the signs and decided.

Tabitha was sadistic and creepylike her, but worse. She wanted Mary to suffer as much as possible. So if she wanted Mary to choose a certain hallway, that hall could only lead to pain. She dashed down the 'Life' hall

And ran smack into a brick wall.

[Gifted]

She backed up immeaditley. "Ow," she muttered. "Not fun..." she ran back, sighed, and ran down the "Choose This" hallway.

[Raven]

And once again ran into a brick wall.
