Susie grinned. "Let me explain," she said. "According to the men at the asylum we were moving from when our plane crashed, I... we... have multiple personality disorder,"

Tabitha rolled her eyes. "Here," she said, holding a door open. The room on the other side was dark, so it was difficult to see.

[Gifted]

"Where are we?" she asked, walking into the room.
Susie, you idiot! She's playing you!

[Raven]

Tabitha came in and shut the door. Then she flicked a light on. As hinted by the cold drafty feeling, they were in a huge room. Dominating most of it was a huge maze. "The rules are simple: Don't die, and get to the other exit."

[Gifted]

"W-what?" Susie looked fearful.
What did I tell you you moron? WHAT DID I TELL YOU?

[Raven]

"The sooner you start, the sooner you'll be out," was Tabitha's only answer.

[Gifted]

"Y-y-y-you must be j-joking..." She said, almost crying in fright. "Alright Mary... I'm sorry..."
I told you so. *sigh* I can handle it. I'll take over. Just calm down, and I'll do it,
"Alright, thank you," Susie whispered. Mary took over.
"How dare you take advantage of my suscetible sister like that," Mary snapped at her. "I would call you a monster, but that would be offensive to Dennis Raider,"

Tabitha just smirked. "You're welcome. You might want to get started instead of standing here insulting me until the fire-resistance is out of your system."

[Gifted]

Mary gave Tabitha the middle finger and stepped into the maze.

[Raven]

The first fork was three-way. If she stood too long, considering, she would burn her feet on a bed of coals.

[Gifted]

Mary didn't care about a little pain. She picked up one of the coals in her hand and threwit down the left side, waiting for a sound. She did the same with the other two spokes of the fork.

[Raven]

There was a slight fizzle from the one on the left, the other two made no audible noise.

[Gifted]

Mary ran down the right hand path, not wanting to run into whatever the coal hit on the other side because she highly doubted it was water and thought the middle was too easy.

[Raven]

There was another fork, a timer was set in the center of the two paths. It started ticking from 30 seconds when she got within a few yards.

Mary cursed. She should've brought some of the coals from the other room with her, then she'd have something to throw. Then she realised she did have one more something, but it probably wouldn't help.
She withdrew a quarter from her pocket. She had spotted a silver glint a ways off in the trees yesterday and gone in to investigate, and found this quarter. Hailey had freaked, thinking there must be people nearby, and sprinted through the jungle until they'd been found and captured by these freaks.

All because of one lousy quarter.
Mary threw the quarter down the left spoke of the fork.
