Vickas knew the crow was undead; the stench alone was enough. He knew that undead were weak against holy powers, but that was about it. The crow cawed in pain as Vickas slashed at it, and retaliated with another full attack.

The pain was getting a bit worse as another claw dug into me. I pulled my sword back and lunged it towards its chest.

The sword merely took off a few of the bird's feathers. It snapped back at Vickas, hitting his armor and getting a beak-full of mail.

I was determinded to hit the bird, especially since it was really hurting Vickas.

The crow was slammed into the ground by Vickas' blow after already being wounded by Violet. It cawed angrily, and bolted up from the ground straight at Vickas, slashing and tearing with its talons and beak. It managed to slash him across the cheek with one foot.

I slashed quickly at the crow's neck, spreading my wings slightly. If I could lure it away, it would have no choice but to attack me instead.

The crow cawed once more, loud enough to hear from the town. It looked as if it was crumbling, entrails slipping out of wounds, but it kept going; it was undead, after all. It turned on Violet, and snapped at her with its beak. Instead, it bit into air.

I spread my wings all the way and lifted off, trying to hit it again.

The sword went straight through the crow's head, and it hung there on Vickas' sword, like a grisly, undead kabob.

Pulling my sword out of the Crow I wiped a bit of sweat off my forehead. "Okay fine... I guess I should have listened to you." I held my sword in one hand and placed the other on my wounded chest, saying a few magic words and healed myself. [dice=8+3][rand=70275644090519811149278883368606372254751948962871941432790471821]

My heart was pounding. We were already being attacked like crazy. "I think we're going to end up having an army on us next. We're getting attacked virtually every second." I dropped back to the ground. "Are you okay?" I added with a glance at Vickas. He looked much better after healing, but I still wanted to ask.
