I looked at Violet for a minute than looked over to Jay, wondering how he would take the news.

Jay facepalmed.
"You found the cure for taking the seeds out, correct?" he mused, "That does not remove the infection; it removes the seed itself. We have removed blood bush seeds from many victims, but most of them have succumbed to the infection still..." Jay looked unsure as to what he should do.

I looked at Violet worried, I hoped that we could find a cure, or at least she didn't get the infection.

Jay crossed his arms, and looked at the ground. "Very little hope," he replied pessimistically, "but still hope. I recommend you get to whatever Elder Noah wanted you to do before it sets in. Perhaps you can find a cure before you become another plaguetouched..." The elf looked up. "I shall not allow you to infect anyone else, so if the time comes, I will not hesitate to kill you. Even you, Miss Violet... I am sorry."

"I guess we better go get the infected animals he wanted then..." I was still concerned but if we got what he needed maybe we could cure it.
