[Raven]

Kat wanted to test something with Velvet while Blue wasn't there. She was going to mention Sai. It was a far leap, but Kat had the feeling that the other Wammy's were suspicious of her. She was certain Blue and Seven knew about him, and if they'd told Velvet it would help clear her name. Even if they hadn't, it wouldn't hurt. "Velvet," she said hurriedly. "I want to tell you something. I think Blue has been spying on me and my boyfriend. I don't know why, though... Anyway, this is the second time she's showed up in the area as I went to go visit him." Kat frowned. "And this time she supposedly just got there as I left. We turned on the news and... Well, I should wait to explain the rest until they get here."

"I said, Kat found proof of the new Kiras exsistance! We're meeting outside. And for heaven sakes Seven, would you get off that computer!" she added, since Seven had made no move to folow them.
"I was just shutting down," he said in his usual dazed voice, cancelling his window and getting up. "Well, let's go then,"
Teale sprinted down the hall and out the doors, wanting to get back as fast as possible.

[Rachel]

"Spying?" Velvet whispered and bit her lip. "Why would she do that?"
Velvet's mind just about imploded. Blue had gone after Kat without her?!? And that wasn't the least of it. Now, Kat knew, so she couldn't go visit this guy in her own time.
"Do you want me to talk to her?" That would kind of help, wouldn't it...? If she could get on Kat's good side, then it would be eaiser to meet him. Maybe...
The news? It... it must have something to do with a criminal. And the only real criminal that the Wammys were interested in at the moment was Kira. But that couldn't be right...

running up to the door, Teale puased when she heard voices. Kat knew she was spying on her? and Crap! Now Teale was gonna have to deal with Velvet, too. She looked behind her, to see if the others were coming.

[Raven]

"No... It's okay. I should do it myself. Besides, I really don't care if you guys meet Sai; he's a good guy. It's just a bit annoying that she wouldn't ask me where I was going first," Kat replied.

[Rachel]

Velvet smiled and nodded. "Of course." She was a little glad that Blue hadn't invited her to come. She wouldv'e been caught as well. And then, her plan would've completely... died. That is, if Kat recognised her.
And... duh! Of course she would!

[Raven]

Kat looked up at the front door, suddenly impatient. "What's taking them so long?" she asked somewhat redundantly. Velvet wouldn't know any better than her.

[Rachel]

Velvet smiled. Typical of Kat. "Be patient. Or is it really super important?" she asked, desprately wanting to know, herself. They really should hurry up...
Wait.
"Blue has a new roommate?"
Something that she hadn't caught onto until now. Something that just hadn't quite made sense.

[Raven]

"Yeah, it is and she does," Kat affirmed. She started drumming on her leg with her fingers.

Rhyme paused outside the door to his room, and knocked. After receiving no response, he opened the door, walked in, slammed the door, threw his luggage onto the floor, and crashed onto his bed, head in his hands.

Shortly after the mystifying kiss from Kat, Rhyme had discovered a lead on his most important case: figuring out who his parents were. After habitually going through archived newspapers in the library, he found a small blurb detailing the impending wedding of an Elisa Sterling and Sean Reagan. He remembered how he knew his real name; apparently, his mother came to the orphanage, said, "This is Reagan Sterling," and fled. Maybe the two last names were related to his own name?

Encouraged, Rhyme had researched these names nonstop, avoiding Wammy's House entirely and staying at the city library, using their computers, books, papers, and phones. His suspected parents had never set foot near Wammy's House, but, after a phone call to Elisa, he learned she had a sister that used to live nearby. After more sleepless nights, he found out where his mother currently lived. Rhyme dug up all his savings, and flew to the States.

All to find that his mother was a prostitute, living in the Nevada State Jail, and that she despised him with all her being.

Rhyme still sat, motionless on his bed, head cradled in his hands.

"I can't believe I missed God knows how much information on the Kira case for that," he muttered. Realizing Kat could sneak in at any moment, he straightened up, and kicked his two suitcases under his bed. "I better see what I've been missing..."

With that, he rose from the bed, and was about to leave the room when something caught his eye. He looked out the window, and saw Kat with... Velvet? Was that her name? He opened the window, and tried to listen, while trying to remain inconspicuous.

[Raven]

Kat glanced around, still drumming. "Hurry up... This is important and we're wasting time getting your roommates," she said, mostly to herself.

[Sar]

"Well I'm ready," Yami said now standing next to Teale, ready to follow her "So where exactly are we going?"

[Gifted]

"Outside," Teale said simply, Seven catching up. She ushed open the door and ran outside. "Kat I've got them!" she called, running over to Kat and Velvet, anxious to hear what the rest of them would think about Kats big discovery.

[Rachel]

"So... now, Kat, will you share?" Velvet said with a smile as she slid back down the tree trunk to sit on the grass. She picked up her sketch pad and pencil and idly doodled ((XDD)) as she listened.

[Raven]

"Well... I was at my boyfriend's house and we switched on the news. 10 people just died all around the world by heart attacks at the same time. Each of them was holding a letter written on a piece of paper. I believe that if we put the letters together they'll spell 'Kira is back.' When I was coming back, I ran into Blue and told her everything," Kat told them.
