Teale grinned perfect. she'd only snapped the handle off, so her crappy lockpick was still useable. Double-checking to make sure Yami was gone, she stuck the lockpick in the lock. This would only work on fairly simple ones, so she hoped Yami didn't have the sense to buy extra difficult locks.
At first she only heard scraping inside the lock, but she wasn't worried. The book had told her that might happen. But then she realised something: That was only supposed to happen BEFORE you put butter on it.
"Crap!" she muttered, throwing the book on the bedside table and going to get more butter.

Kat glanced up from her bed. "I'm not sure," she admitted. "He seemed okay at first, then he left without more than 'I've got to go,' I hope he's okay though... I've never seen him explode like that." Her brow furrowed.

[Rachel]

Velvet nodded sadly. "Alright. I hope so. I suppose I should go. Silk'll be worried. We have a date," she grinned now, winking. "See ya later, Kat!" With this, she turned on her heel and walked back to her room. She didn't bother knocking before she walked in to find Silk reclining on her bed.
"Hey, Silk, how many days if a 'few'?"
"Hello to you too," she muttered, not looking over. "A couple? Why?
"I'm meeting up with someone soon," Velvet replied, not willing tell her best friend the whole story yet.
"Who? Oh, let me guess. a guy?" Silk looked over.
"Perhaps."
"WHO?!"
"I'll tell you if we meet up. Silk, it's no one you know. And it's not like it's a guy guy that I'm interested in or whatever, so get over that idea."
"Liar."
Velvet stuck her tongue out at Silk.

Kat sighed, laying back down on her bed. She had a massive headache, and she was sure that something was up with Blue and Seven. She wanted to see Sai again, but he had a life. She decided she wouldn't bother him until the morning. It was going to be a long night, and she'd need something to read.

An hour later she finally exited the library holding Kissed by an Angel, The Tale of Desperaux, and Pillage. ((I looked over at my book shelf and those were the ones I noticed first X3)) She hurried back up to her room. It was nine thirty.

Teale ran back, her lockpick now covered in butter and slippery, and grabbed the book. she jammed the lockpick in the lock, and twisted it.
It broke.
Telae held her breath. She knew the lockpick would break. Theroretically, it was supposed to break AS it unstuck the lock. So either she'd opened it... or Lemony Snicket was full of BS.
She tugged on the lock, and it swung open.
grinning, she grabbed some of Circles's old sketching paper. She'd used it for bluepints, and it was the only paper they kept in the room. She scribbled down the words in the first six pages as quickly as she could, even though it was obviously in all different languages. after doing that, she closed the book, snapped the lock shut (here I'm assuming it locks automatically, some diaries do that) and stuffed the notes in her pocket. She grabbed the bits of metal that were her lockpick and tiredly tossed them in the trash next to the bed. It'd been a long day.

Kat woke up in the late morning. She'd stayed up quite late reading, but as soon as she regained a bit of consciousness, she got up and started getting dressed.

"Ugh..." Velvet muttered as she gritted her teeth in frustration. Why couldn't she draw?!?
That morning, she had woken up and randomly decided that she wanted to draw. Which she couldn't, anyway. So here she was, sitting under a tree and failing and drawing Wammy's House. She didn't know where anyone was, but she didn't care. She assumed that Blue would let her know when she was going to go visit Kat's boyfriend. And she didn't need to see Kat. Did she?
Velvet sighed and tried again, her thoughts clouding her concentration. Come on Blue, she was thinking. Let me meet this guy!

[Raven]

Kat was just inside the gate when she spotted Velvet. She was breathing hard and it took her a minute to catch her breath. "Velvet, we need to talk to everyone, come on, we need to get Seven," she said, then she turned and headed for the doors.

Oh Crap!
That's when Teale remembered she was supposed to tell Velvet next time she went to see Kat's boyfriend. Oh, I'm gonna get it later, teale thought, but aloud she said "I'll get him," and started to run ahead. "Should I get my new roommate too?" she called back to the pair.

"I don't know," Kat replied. "You can if you want."

Teale raced down the hall and threw open the door to her room. "Seven, Yami," she said quickly. "You have to meet us outside. Kat's just found proof that Kira's back,"

[Sar]

Yami woke up slowly. She had been asked to go to another meeting late last night, though she wasn't sure if she woke up her room mates, and was truly exhausted. 'So many questions,' she thought as she slowly got out of bed. She let out a yawn and said "I'm coming!" she slipped on a pair of basketball shorts and a tank top. She brushed her hair quickly into a pony tail and wrapped it in a band. She smiled and walked to the door. "Now what did you say?"

[Rachel]

Velvet shivered but remained seated. "All of us?" she asked Kat. If they needed to speak to all of them, it must be important, right? But what could be that important...?
KIRA!
Of course! Velvet mentally facepalmed. It must have something to do with the 'new Kira'! Maybe... maybe they have proof that he's real.
She shivered again. The thought was just... ugh... And didn't they decide that they were going to keep most of the information from Kat incase she went and blabbed it to her boyfriend? Then how did she know?
