"yeah, I'm glad to be back, at least for a little while," I smiled. Normally I'd be thrilled that I got to be here on her wedding day, but under the circumstances... not so much.
"I shoulc tell you stuff while I'm still around. I could give you tons of info you'd need if you got yourself involved in a war with him,"

Shoot... Cristel bit her lip. This was what she was afraid of.

[Raven]

"I still have a wedding party to be at, Gifted~" Raven replied. "And Cristel has been staying here, she's told me quite a bit."

[Gifted]

granted, I meant later if I'm still ok and still here,"
Cristel sighed. Good. If Gifted told Raven anything Emric would know that raven knew it. She wanted to leave Emric uninformed on how much raven knew. She could tell Gifted before the party was over not to say anything.

[FoxTrott]

"Now that everything's all nice and sorted out," Fox interrupted, "Can we please just get into our party clothes? I'm starving." She slumped back and made a rather unpleased face.

[Raven]

Raven put her arm around Fox's shoulder. "Okay, Foxy. Let's go." She marched into her house/castle/building and up the stairs.

[Gifted]

I followed, trying to enjoy myself, despite Ravens danger. I needed to find some sort of proof... If she wouldn't believe the testimony of two mind readers, one who gave up her free will just to warn Raven, then there wasn't much I could do. But I had to try.
As long as I was here, I had to try.

[FoxTrott]

Fox giggled slightly and threw her arm around Raven's shoulder. "Onward!" she exclaimed, following her friend's lead. She glanced back at Gifted. "C'mon, ex-mind slave."

[Gifted]

"Not something to joke about," I said, trying very hard not to snap at her. I was kind of preoccupied, and besides, it wasn't funny.

[FoxTrott]

Fox rolled her eyes, and turned her head back to look at Raven. "Y'know," she said, in a low voice, "There's a good chance Gifted could be right... about Adam, I mean. Kenny. Whatever you want to call him... and I don't want you to get hurt, Rave."

[Gifted]

I felt like saying "Thankyou!" when I heard Fox say that, but I held my toungue. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to hear that, and didn't want to inturrupt the conversation if I wasn't.
But come on Raven... You've got two mind readers, one who sacraficed her free will to warn you, AND two friends telling you this. Why don't you, y'know, DO something about it?

[Raven]

Raven dropped her arm. "And what makes you say that?" she asked Fox, just managing to keep the anger out of her tone.

[FoxTrott]

Fox stepped back, sensing something was wrong. "I just... I mean, if there's the slightest chance that you'll be hurt, or worse, I don't want you to get hurt," she explained, "Gifted and some mind readers are worried. That says something, Raven."

[Raven]

"That says there are a bunch of paranoid mind readers," Raven snapped. "I don't want to talk about this anymore."

[FoxTrott]

"That says they care about your well-being!" Fox insisted, "And I do want to talk about it so you're safe!"

[Raven]

"The next person to mention this again can go home. I'm serious. I don't want to talk about it!" Raven cried, stalking off towards their destination.
