"Of course not, but that doesn't make it not strange, considering the kid."

"What about him?" Kailen asked.

Amy raised an eyebrow at Kailen. She hadn't seen Liam threaten Abigail, but she'd seen enough before she left to know that Liam wasn't totally right in the head, despite seeming normal at first glance.

[Raven]

"I didn't find it strange at all," kailen said. "He didn't want anyone to get hurt."

[Gifted]

"He did seem to be a good kid." Amy agreed. Which was exactly why his emulation of the supervillains he was growing up around was so strange, but Amy wasn't in the mood to argue with a teenager. "You guys going to end up trying to rescue him?"

[Raven]

Kailen glanced at Maggie. "We'll see if we can, but we've already seen what happens when we get involved in things with Aaron Villein," Maggie said.

[Gifted]

"Figured as much." Amy nodded. "Warn me if you do, please? That way it wont catch me totally off guard if I get jumped again."

[Raven]

"We will," Maggie said. "And I'd like to work with you to put some protections in place against any supers who might get ideas."

[Gifted]

"I've got windows with reinforced walls underneath so we can use them as cover, those held up. I've also got a network of cameras threaded throughout the house, those are still good. The rest is broken."

[Raven]

"We'll figure it out," Maggie said as Neil, Ryan, and Abigail arrived.
"Who all is injured?" Neil asked.

[Gifted]

"Look at Darren first. He was hurt bad, got stitched up, I want to make sure it was done properly." Amy said, despite also being injured.

[Raven]

Neil nodded, coming over to Darren. "Did Ruby pull a bullet out?" he asked Darren as he began to unwrap the wound.

[Gifted]

"I think so..." Darren nodded. "At least, I really hope that is what she was doing."

[Raven]

"You didn't see her pull one out?" Neil asked.

[Gifted]

"He was playing dead." Amy said, scowling.
