"You're braver kids than I could ever be." He shook his head. It was clear he didn't think that had been a terribly bright move.

[Raven]

"Is it more likely to get in in smaller numbers?" Raven privately thought that they weren't getting in regardless, but he wanted to know what was normal.

[Gifted]

"Thought it was common knowledge. Big groups are way more threatening than small groups. One or two people might get away with talkin' to her. You can plead your case. Big groups she just attacks. Ain't no point in tryin'."

[Raven]

"We couldn't risk getting split up," Raven said, glancing towards the cave entrance.
"Doesn't matter now, though," Ryan muttered

[Gifted]

"No it doesn't. That girl has a good memory. Doubt you'd have much luck going on your own now."

[Raven]

"Yeah. She definitely got a good look, too," Ryan said, and shrugged. "We'll just have to make do out here."

[Gifted]

"I wish you kids good luck." The man hung around until Raven caught him a bird or two to cook.

Amy returned first, realizing she'd been gone a while. "Oh good, you found someone!" She said brightly, relieved Ryan was alright.

[Raven]

"Yeah, we were thinking about going to find you, but that ultimately seemed like a bad idea," Ryan said. "Raven managed to trade some birds for healing magic."

[Gifted]

"That's good. Has Natalia been back yet?"

[Raven]

Ryan shook his head. "Not yet." He seemed pretty worried about that.

[Gifted]

"She's probably still looking." Amy said. "Do you want me to track her down?"

[Raven]

"If you think you can without missing her," Ryan said.
Raven looked like he might object, but he needed to get the four of them food still.

[Gifted]

"I'll just follow her with magic, no big deal." Amy assured him.

[Raven]

"Oh yeah. Duh," Ryan said, laughing. "Alright, sure."

[Gifted]

Amy waved and headed out, following Natalia's footsteps to bring back her friend.
It only took about fifteen minutes before both girls were back. "Hey! Look who I found!" Amy said with a grin.
