Ryan reacted quickly, but it was nothing compared to Skye's speed and the sword pierced his left shoulder at the joint. Still, the impact drew her close and would have to slow her down due to momentum, and Ryan sliced his knife towards her chest.
"Skye wait!" Raven said, jumping forward. "It's us! We're from the past!"

Skye had to pull back because of Ryans swipe but the knife barely pierced her flesh, protected as she was my the gold and the hard plastic that covered her vital organs. Still, he seemed to have alarmed her and she pulled back, her silver sword now red with his blood. "Stay away. This is my city. I won't let you touch them." Anger dripped from every word, and she slashed at Raven, who'd made himself a target.

The anger in her voice had fortunately caused Raven to take half a step back, and when she started to turn, he threw his arms up, jumping backwards so quickly he nearly fell over. All the same, a deep red line quickly opened in his arm. Ryan made a rapid strike at the shoulder of Skye's sword arm as she turned.

Skye jumped back with her speed, which resulted in the knife hitting her sword and blocking a potential strike rather than her being wounded. However, it had put some distance between them and Skye.

Raven backed towards Amy, his left arm cradled against his chest as he took aim and fired at Skye, even as Ryan slashed again.

Amy pulled out her own knife, worried about Ryan and Raven but knowing she wouldn't be much use. She tried to circle around them but if they couldn't hit Skye she certainly wouldn't be of much help.
Skye caught the dart between two fingers, then stepped backwards out of Ryan's reach before throwing it back at Raven. It went faster than it should have were she just throwing it.

The dart hit him, but Raven seemed ultimately unconcerned. "Ow. That hurt," he complained loudly, pulling it out and wiping away the blood that rose to the surface with his thumb.

Amy moved to try to stab Skye in the shoulder, but it was a very dangerous mistake. Skye darted around her blow in an instant, and was poised to stab her sword through Amy's back.

"No!" Raven and Ryan shouted at almost the same time. Raven dropped his dart gun and took a step back. "We'll leave as long as you let her go," he said.

Skye glanced at them, clearly having heard. Amy tried to move, but she was too slow. Skye lunged at her anyway.

Ryan wasn't as fast, but he lunged, throwing his knife at the point where Skye would be if she caught Amy while using his magic to attempt to turn a single point towards the center of Skye's sword to dust.

Ryan got what he wanted on both counts - Skye had to dodge to the side to avoid the knife and only cut Amy shallowly across her back rather than stabbing through it. In addition, he managed to snap her blade in half, rendering it useless. It didn't seem to faze her at all. She tossed the now useless hilt aside and threw a punch at Raven.
It never connected. A metallic swarm shot around Skye and solidified into a solid metal sheet between Raven and Skye, cutting Skye off when she was about to run headfirst into it. For some reason, Natalia had come back and joined the fight.
However, this didn't cripple Skye as she probably expected it to. Instead of coming to a complete stop or running into a metal wall like Natalia had intended, Skye threw her punch early and his the wall square with her fist.
She shattered right through it, creating a massive hole. She kicked out the bottom, went straight through and tried to hit Raven again. Defending him with a metal wall had only bought him several extra seconds to react.
"We gotta get out of here." Amy was terrified.

Raven had moved back several paces in that time. Ryan, seeing Natalia safe, nodded to Amy, "Go," he agreed, and lunged towards Skye. Raven attempted to dodge, but when she got close enough, he threw a punch - for all the good it would do.

Amy didn't want to just leave them, but she wasn't capable of doing anything that could help them and she was aware that defending her was just making their jobs harder. So though she hated herself for it, she did as she was told on got herself out of there. She ran off towards the cliffs.
Skye let her go. She didn't really want to push her luck with Amy, for some reason. She dodged Raven, and threw a punch at Ryan.
