"Could be any number of magic abilities." Amy said. "Maybe I could check them and see if they were made in the last 24 hours? If I could see a fight up close, it could tell us a lot about Lady Skye's abilities."

Amy smiled. "Alright. Just a moment." Her eyes flashed yellow, and she didn't have to approach the crater any closer to use her powers. It was the first time they'd seen her do it without touching anything. However, the result was disappointing. "No, they're older than that." She frowned. "Sorry."

Other than the plants, craters and some burned patches, there wasn't much in the way of cover here either. The city was very well-placed to defend from attack, and its location had probably contributed a great deal to Lady Skye's continued independent dictatorship.

When they'd made it all the way around to the other side of the city, quite a bit of time had passed, and they'd found very little. "There were some craters a way back we could use if there's nothing else," Raven suggested.

"It's possible that it was caused by the people fighting her, but as comforting as the thought started, if she's still standing after fighting someone with that kind of power," Ryan said.
