"Oh, that sounds like fun. I haven't had much Indian food. My foster mother loved Chinese food though. Like, real Chinese chinese food. If we get oney somehow I can take you to the place she used to take us."

"I lived on Oak street, just about an hours walk that way." She pointed. "There were three of us foster kids, apparently our foster mom couldn't have kids or something. We lived in a house almost as big as our old house but everyone got their own room, and we grew vegetables in the back."

"Well, my powers of course! After the authorities started hunting down gifteds I never felt right staying there. They all kept saying it was okay and I stayed for awhile, but I couldn't stay there and risk someone finding out and them getting hurt. They were like family to me."

"They were pretty great." Flare agreed. "I left them a note, and I left my foster brother and sister a couple of things they liked of mine that I didn't need anymore. I haven't really seen them since."
