"What's that?" She pointed to the necklace around his neck. "I've never seen a cross like that before."

[Raven]

"Oh." Kenny smiled. "The symbol in the center is a representation of the north star. I think it's important to have it with us, so that we can always find our way to God." He lifted it off and handed it to her. "You can have it, if you like. I can get another."

[Gifted]

She looked at the bright lines on the symbol. "Oh... thank you. Are you sure I can keep this?"

[Raven]

"Of course," Kenny said. "That's what they're for, to give to those who I think need them. Your largest challenge is over, but it changed you, and everyone could use God's guidance."

[Gifted]

She smiled and put the necklace chain around her neck. "So what do you have for me to learn, then?" She laughed in nervous excitement.

[Raven]

"Well, we can start with the importance of kindness. Everyone on Earth is one of God's children, and it shows divinity to help those who are less fortunate, in any way you can. Anyone can be forgiven, so long as they repent, since God truly wants all of us to be happy, and the best we can be. He works through us, and the thing most people struggle with is the idea that a benevolent God could allow the suffering that goes on in this world. If ever you start to doubt, remember that it is not God, but the absence of Him that allows evil. Not God, but the Devil who tries to torment us. And even through those times, when Satan is about you, if you hold God in your heart, you will find the right path, and you will come out okay, because God will always help you, as long as you let him. That's the most important lesson I can teach you."

[Gifted]

"But what about atheists?" Abigail frowned. "Does God help them?"

[Raven]

"As much as He can, but God created Earth so that his children could experience free will. If someone refuses to believe in God, or believes he's malevolent, he cannot influence them as much. By blocking out God, they let in Satan, and then there is not much to do unless they find faith."

[Gifted]

She nodded. "I understand. But what about people who worship the wrong god? People from other religions and such?"

[Raven]

"It's basically the same as atheists. False religions, all of them. They all make it much more difficult to actually help those who need it. The best thing is to help people see the truth."

[Gifted]

"But that's awful... they think they're getting help..."

[Raven]

"I agree, which is why we have to try to help them," Kenny said. "And remain firm in our faith."

[Gifted]

Abigail nodded. "I will." She confirmed. "Just tell me what I need to know."

[Raven]

"You must remain virtuous. Any sin can grow inside you, and give the Devil the chance to shake your faith. You must forget anger, greed, envy, and all other forms of selfishness, and embrace love, charity, and kindness. The devil will use many things to tempt you into disobedience, but you must remain firm. I believe in you, Abigail, and I know that you will remain steadfast."

[Gifted]

"Absolutely." She agreed. "I'll make sure of it, I promise."
