Caroline looked up at him in surprise, but didn't say a word. Instead she gave him her test. The mark on it was 42/56.

She looked at him in disbelief. That mark was awful! She was so screwed! She was terrified, out of habit more than anything even as she tried to remind herself her parents wouldnt ever see her again, let alone her awful marks.

She shook her head. Not for her, her family would still be angry. She always left class for ten minutes when she got a test with bad score, to stop people asking questions about why she was freaking out.
