Abigail was just grateful she left 'and poor' out of that statement. "Yeah, but we should still go there, I could get her a board game or a stuffed animal. She doesn't have a lot of toys."

Abigail looked at a few board games without many easy-to-lose pieces but eventually decided to buy her sister a giant butterfly pillow in bright red and yellow. "She'll love this." Abigail grinned.

Kenny brought them there to get the DVDs, and then finally to the furniture store. They were there for just twenty minutes before Kenny said. "You two are welcome to keep looking if you'd like, but I need to pick up Hannah and Caroline. I don't want to be late - I'm always worried Caroline's parents will be there for her."

Caroline was sitting out in front of the school when Kenny showed up, her face as white as the paper she was holding. This in spite of the fact class didn't let out for another five minutes.
