[Raven]

"She went to get my sword. I put it down when I was waiting for Mercy, I told her," Kenny said.

[Gifted]

"So where is it? Where we just were?" Xander asked.

[Raven]

"Yes!"

[Gifted]

"Alright, I can be there in a minute, shouldn't take more than just me if she's by herself."

[Raven]

"She is," I said.
"Go!"

[Gifted]

Feeling paranoid, I spoke into the radio. "Alright, Raven I'm going to assume you heard that so before you get any ideas you'd better fucking listen to this too."

Xander paused to see what Raven would do.

[Raven]

"She's buying time. Go," I told Xander. "Let me know on the radio when you have her and you're in a secure place." Then I spoke into the radio, "I'm listening."

[Gifted]

"I'd like to point out the only thing stopping my team from murdering yours is me. I have Mercy, Francis, Victor, hell Mariah has already proven she'll kill if you panic her even with me here. You want the rest of them to die? Because I am not responsible for what my team does when I'm not there."
"...Is that permission, Director?" Joan asked cynically.
"No, Carol. Never. It's me knowing you and knowing you'll do it anyway." I answered.

Xander, as per your instructions, had already left.

[Raven]

"And do you think the same couldn't be said about this side in regards to Xander? You're working with Vivian and Francis, you should really have considered the potential repercussions. If they think their lives are threatened, do you really think Ryan, Lynn, and Awhina are going to hold back? If Stephanie is in danger, Kailen will do what he has to even if it destroys him. You might want to warn your team not to get any ideas, not me."

[Gifted]

"Except you have Xander. And my team is better at killing than yours is. We haven't removed a limiter yet, if you remove me and this turns into a bloodbath, that's on you, not me. I don't have any control over how this is going to turn out. You still do. I'm just pointing out the natural course this is going to go. What happens next is entirely up to you."

[Raven]

"Your team couldn't work with each other if they were trapped in a box together," I said. "You get pulled out of the equation and if they still manage to pull missions in order to try to kill us, they won't be hard to pick off. We got into a government building and extracted someone from the cells you supposedly guard more closely than anything, and you think your team can manage to try to kill Erin and Sharie's best friends and come out on top?"

[Gifted]

"You are definitely underestimating my team." I shook my head. "Whatever. Your funeral. Or well, more likely- augh!" Xander had attacked me from behind, which quite frankly was a dick move when I had no powers.
"Gifted?!" Joan was alarmed. "Fr- er, Maine, how close are you?"

[Raven]

"I don't know, Joan, I don't know where she is!" Francis snapped.

[Gifted]

"Well, it looks like she was heading back." It was Xander. "Raven, I've got her. Kenny was right; she's got his sword with her. We'll be back pretty quick."

[Raven]

"Thanks, Xander. Agents, I wasn't the one doing the underestimating. I suggest you think your next moves well," I said. "Gifted led your team well."

Francis's voice was cold when he spoke, "Joan, report this to the head office."
