"She saw me when I was at Anya's father's house and asked for directions from there to her home. Said home was roughly a mile west of here." He said, frowning and very confused.
Meanwhile, since he had left her, both Fae and Lucille had, like all the others before them, become victims. Lucille was helping Fae care for a sick litter of kittens that he had rescued. They were separated for seemingly only moments when, Fae and then Lucille, were met by the flash, pain, and darkness. Sadly, without anyone to care for them, the kittens did not make it.
Meanwhile again, Jacques came walking into the Better's Ring. He chose a seat slightly apart from the others and sat quietly, arms folded and casual as though he had done this hundreds of times.

Neon is a liar and Nikka apparently had a stash of kittens in her bedroom. "Dad, please just give us a moment?" Nikola tried to pull Nicholas inside. Jeremy glared at him with eyes that clearly stated 'Do anything to her, and I'll do the same and worse to you.'

"It was my aunt Katrina's," Nikola answered. She hadn't needed to go there, and Katrina was not her aunt, but she wouldn't mention that.

"Dammit!" He cursed, sighing frustratedly. "Well, I'm going then. I need to look for them." He said, heading for the door.

There was a flash of blue light and Niko's pain lasted longer than the others since she wasn't prepared.
Not much later, Jeremy showed up at the ring, his jaws clenched. "It's fabulous to see you, Mr. Bailey," Julius said. "Please, enjoy yourself. Have a seat." Jeremy didn't speak as he went to sit at the table. He avoided looking at the screen. He didn't want to look at all those contestants.

Rolan came in beside him and went to sit down, not at his table, but close enough.
"Excellent candidates, don't you think? I'm sure that my younger son will be first to go, what with his nature and confusion. Nicholas might do well... Mmmm, and if my grand-daughter wins, well, I may have to keep her to myself~" He said with a perverse grin.
