Nico jogged towards his "home" and then very quickly made it to Jeremiah and Anya's house, knocking hurriedly on the door.

Jeremy opened the front door. He'd found a note with his meal from Anya earlier, saying she was sorry she had to go out of town with her father, and wouldn't have cell phone reception. "Can I help you?"

Jeremy left the door open, but didn't invite him in. He went to get the note, and Nikola came in through the back door, not realizing that Nicholas was at her house.

Nikola didn't realize why the door was left open and she came to shut it. "Nikka, I'm glad you're home," Jeremy said, passing her with the note that Nikola had written herself.
