Vlad was glad they were getting along so well, but went on red alert when he heard a branch snap behind him. "Get down." he said instinctively ducking into a predatory crouch behind a bush.

Eryk had sworn he had heard a familiar voice, and seen a white shock of hair. He looked through the dense trees, cursing when he snapped a branch.

Rick pushed the girl behind him, knowing it would look good to defend the woman before himself - at least until it was proven she didn't need protecting. He stood protectively in front of her, not going to hide until she did.

[Raven]

Katrina was not used to this high alert, running and hiding thing, so even when Vlad said, 'get down', she glanced around. "Why?" Before realizing that should be self-explanatory. But then, if Vlad hid, that made a team of two, and maybe they could fool this other person into thinking they might be on theirs? Then Rick pushed her behind him and she decided maybe she should get down to be a smaller target anyway. Rick was probably this wall. She crouched beside Vlad.

[Neon]

"I'll deal with this. Stay put." He whispered, sneaking through the brush to see who this new intruder was. He was extremely relieved upon the discovery that it was Eryk. He stood up. "It's okay, it's the man I've been looking for."

Eryk grinned as he saw his former lover appear seemingly from nowhere. "Snowflake!" he embraced his Vladdy. "So good to see you, darling. It's been ages~!" He beamed, surveying the very annoyed and embarrassed looking Vladdy.

[Raven]

"If we're a team, that isn't ending well," Katrina whispered to Rick. "Did you see his paper?"

[Gifted]

"No, but he mentioned the snake and wall thing before I did." Rick told her. "I'll watch them."

[Raven]

"He could be a mind reader," Katrina said, not convinced.

[Neon]

Vlad sighed. "Rick, he's the one I told you about." He called out. He turned back to Eryk with a sigh. "Don't you have a team to find?"

"Probably," Eryk started, "But I don't care about them. More than likely they'd hold me back. Now, Snowflake, how've you been~?" he twittered.

Vlad glared and ignored him, looking back for his team. "They say you're out and I'll kill you, 'Rykie.'"

"My power negates all other powers Katrina. If he's a mind reader I am really pissing him off." Rick chuckled.

[Raven]

Katrina seemed relieved and nodded. "Alright... But then..." She looked at Eryk and Vlad again.

[Neon]

Vlad looked embarrassed and annoyed. "Rick, Katrina, this is my evil ex Eryk. Eryk, my teammates. They want you gone and I will kill you right now." he said completely seriously.

Eryk grinned. "Charmed. Now, I wouldn't discount me if I were you, teammates, because you see I make my precious Snowflake a weapon. We're unstoppable."

"Oh, I don't mind, really. Long as I've got my eye on you." He smirked and held out his hand for Eryk to shake. "Rick Martinez."

[Neon]

Eryk smirked in return. "Eryk Jashin. Care for a demonstration?"

"I'd love one." Rick smiled and let the mans hand go, stepping back to Katrina just in case Eryk got any funny ideas.

Eryk grinned and grabbed Vlad's hand, whispering "chanje, ponya."

Vlad turned into an elegant dagger, liquefying and transforming almost instantly. His dagger form had a blood red curved blade and white handle.

Eryk smiled, holding the weapon. "This is just one of the forms we've mastered. There are seven in all."
