Vlad pondered about it before replying very thoughtfully. "No. A healer probably wouldn't be too keen on joining two aggressors. If one of them is a healer, it would be tactically to our advantage to appear benevolent. And then let the other go, to further win her trust and support. Someone else will dispose of the other girl, and if not we have the advantage of surprise when we meet up again. They may not expect a group who let them go to finish them later."

"And if the're both enemies?" Rick was trying to get a feel for how this girl thought.

[Neon]

Vlad shrugged. "I use you as a sheild and drop them both in seconds. I can paralyze or kill, whichever you think best. Or if they affect me anyway, cut me and get the blood on them. It will kill them quickly and agonizingly, assuming they aren't null like you."

[Gifted]

Rick nodded. "Done. Let's go." He headed over to meet the girls.
Joan recognized him. "Is that Rick Martinez?" She headed over at a quicker pace. "Oi! Rick!"
It took him a moment to place the girl. "Joan Wenkeling!? The telekinetic? Is that you?"
"You got that right."

[Raven]

"You know each other, then?" Katrina asked. She hoped it wasn't intentional. She didn't want to have to fight anyone she knew.

[Neon]

Vlad opted to greet Katrina. "Hello miss. Um.. You wouldn't happen to have seen a man with bright red hair and green eyes have you?"

[Raven]

Katrina shook her head. "No, sorry. We've just seen you..."

[Neon]

Vlad nodded. "That's okay. Just looking for my ex. Now, I know it's a bit personal, but would you say you're a healer or a doctor, particularly one seeking a snake and wall?" he asked, looking hopeful.

[Raven]

Katrina glanced at Joan, fearing the kind girl's safety, before she nodded. "Yes..." She pulled out the paper to show Vlad as proof.

[Neon]

Vlad smiled. "Great.. It seems we have a team, then... Don't worry, we won't harm her," he added.

[Gifted]

"Oh, brilliant! That's the team all together then!"
Joan frowned. She knew how Rick worked, and she didn't want to leave Katrina at his mercy until she was sure he was safe. She laughed. "Oh, I'd check him out if I were you, girl." She nudged Rick playfully. "It'd be just like him to hide in another group with lies and politics."
Rick laughed. "I'm not gonna lie, that sounds like something I'd do. Not this time though, unfortunately Joan. I really am just this lucky." He pulled out his paper to show as proof.

[Raven]

Katrina seemed relieved by all of this, and she nodded. "Thank you, Joan. You'll probably want to find your team now, though, won't you?"

[Gifted]

"I suppose I probably should, yeah." Joan looked around, and it was clear she really didn't like the idea. "Take care, Katrina."

[Raven]

"You too. Good luck, Joan," Katrina said, and glanced back at her team mates again. They seemed nice enough. "My name is Katrina, by the way..."

"Rick Martinez." Rick replied, holding his hand out to shake Katrinas.
