Stephanie led him back to the supermarket she'd seen and found the washrooms. "I'll see you in a few minutes then,"

In a very stereotypical fashion, Stephanie took much longer than Kailen did to get ready. She changed into the suit, brushed and curled her hair with a straightening iron (it's possible I swear) she'd hidden in her bag, and then did her makeup. She used darker colours to make her look older and sterner. Finally she retrieved some press-on nails from her bag to give herself a fake french manicure. She stood up a little straight, took a stern, calculated expression and narrowed eyes and walked out of the washroom without looking at Kailen.

kailen looked for a second as though he might ask her a question, then he thought twice and resumed waiting for his friend with a sigh.

Stephanie had almost walked out the door before she stopped and burst out in a fit of giggling. "Come on Kailen, really?" She said giggling.
