The Stereotypical Evil Overlord Role Play

"You're surprised? I have a husband, a family... you don't even have a sister!"

Ben's eyes flashed, glowing bright green as he leaped towards Ruby, whipping his cable at her neck.

Taking that as the cue to attack, Risette shot forward, a large cheetah lunging at its prey.
Ruby, who'd been trying to provoke Ben and therefore expected that, dodged and she and Scarlett puled out knives.
Liolu whisked out from Flare's side as a large and intimidating python and cut Francis off from the rest of the group, Flare attempting to creep up behind him while the giant python kept him distracted.
Amber stepped forward and punched Josh in the side of the head, sending him sprawling to the ground. Gabriel went in to defend his scrawny friend.

[Raven]

Auburn wasn't about to let Gabriel attack her sister - she sent up a wall of fire between them.
Ben sent as much electricity as he could in the area that was being occupied by him, Ruby, Scarlett, and Risette.
Francis took a step back. He certainly wasn't interested in wrestling a python if he didn't have to. He glanced around for something else to put between himself and the snake and saw Flare behind him. He reached out to grab her and yank her in front of him.

Gabriel looked back to figure out where the fire had come from, worried. He was definitely regretting not taking karate more seriously. Now that he was in trouble he couldn't even remember what he'd been taught.
Scarlette cried out in pain and dropped her knife, and Risette stopped. Ruby was shocked too, but unfortunately had the good sense to hold onto her weapon. She winced and tried to attack him with it, slashing at his face.
As he reached for her, Flare grinned and proceeded so grab the arm he was reaching with... and burn him like she was made of white-hot metal, despite the strange fact that she didn't give off any heat. She kept a tight grip on hi as the burns rapidly increased in severity.

[Raven]

Auburn grinned. "Fight fair," she scolded, despite the fact that they weren't. Kumair and Rory remained out of the battle, watching to see if they were needed, or if anyone else came.
Francis yelped in shock and pain and tried to pull away from the girl. What the hell was going on?
Ben jumped back, whipping his cable at her again as he focused his electricity into the metal.

"Fair? How is this fair?" Gabriel demanded, throwing a punch at Auburn. Somehow, even when his life was on the line and he was clearly very worried, his tone still managed to come out joking.
Flare smiled and let go of him... only for the python he'd nearly backed into to begin wrapping itself around him.
Scarlett and her daemon went in to defend their mother, Scarlett slashing with her knife while Risette whisked around o the other side and lunged at his legs.

[Raven]

Francis tried to stomp on the thing's head.
Ben once again shocked the entire area around him, just trying to keep them at bay.
Auburn sent a jet of fire at him. "Well, we're fighting one-on-one - mostly."

The snake tried to strike with its fangs at Francis's foot when it found it couldn't move out of the way in time.
Scarlette and Risette were shocked violently again but that gave Ruby time to disentangle herself from the cord. Ruby giggled. "You can't beat all of us, Benny boy. Not with just three powerless teammates on your side. We'll make sure our Supreme Lord stays safe."
Gabriel's shirt caught fire and he cried out in fear as his body began to burn. He rushed to smother the flames, not particularly wanting to burn to death.

[Raven]

Ben intensified his electric charge. "We'll see." He clenched his jaw.
Francis stomped on the snake - but he felt the unpleasant sensation of two long fangs sink into his foot and he cried in pain.
Auburn laughed and put the fire out. "Keep dancing, boy!"
Rory decided to join in the fun and Vaalea leaped forward at Josh - just trying to scare him rather than actually touch him. She growled loudly.

Scarlett screamed in pain and Risette tried to snap at his ankle, just wanting to force him to stop. Ruby wasn't phased, simply letting Scar;ett take the fall and moving well out of shock range, retrieving her daughters knife from the ground where she'd left it earlier. Now she had one to throw. She took aim at his throat and did just that.
The snake hissed and slithered away from him, releasing him from its grip. Flare winced and clutched at her head, trying as hard as she could to not show him pain. It would be a much bigger advantage to not let them in on that connection.
Josh jumped back in fear, trying to avoid the large animal. They couldn't be killed here, they were the heroes! The protagonists! But this was a total Curb-Stomp-Battle, and he was making a bigger fool of himself than all the rest put together, who could at least put up something of a fight. Scrawny, nerdy Josh was getting beat by a Badass Normal with nothing but her fists.
Gabriel finally managed to put out the fire, but not before sustaining several bad burns. He looked up to Auburn, determined to be more careful next time.

[Raven]

Auburn lit a fire in the air, trying to make him jump.
Francis limped away from the pair of them, his vision blurring from the pain in his foot when he had to put his weight on it.
Vaalea leaped at him again, but that time she actually aimed to land on top of him.

Ben tried to move out of the way, but with Risette at his ankles and his focus on keeping a charge, the blade sunk deep into his shoulder. He shouted in pain and the electricity stopped for a second. When it came back, it was weaker and more closely discharged around him.

Gabriel flinched backwards, worried she'd shoot it at him again, his hands up on the defensive.
Flare lunged at him again, determined to get her fingers around his throat.
Josh jumped back again, but Vaalea managed to keep him distracted enough that Amber could get behind him, delivering a savage blow and almost breaking his nose. He spat out blood and scrambled backwards. "N-now would be a great time for the Calvary to show up!" He said, scared despite his belief that they were the protagonists and couldn't be killed. What if he was wrong and they weren't the protagonists? What if they were just the back story, the cautionary tale given to the real heroes that they better not try this because of the horrible things that happened to 'the last people who tried'?

[Raven]

Vaalea swiped her huge paw at his leg.
Auburn smirked and shot fire at him again.
Francis curled his fist and threw it at the little girl's face.

Josh cried out in pain as the leopard cut a scratch into his leg and tried to move to the side, throwing a punch at Amber. Amber dodged it easily, grabbed his arm, and threw him forward again.
Gabriel managed to dodge it this time and tried to hit Auburn again.
Flare took the hit and her nose was bleeding, but it only seemed to thrill her more. There was a wild grin on her face as her small fingers curled around Francis' throat and began to burn him. Again, there was no heat.

Risette looked to Scarlett, who nodded. Risette stopped and, after a moment, turned into a spitting cobra. Even though snakes were Riolu's thing, it was a way to shoot Ben from a distance.
