Adam crept down the hall and ducked into the room where the rings were kept, careful to make sure no one saw him. He may be welcomed here, but he still doubted Kenny had complete trust in him. He took a deep breath and took a small enough amount, he doubted they would be missed. Six in all. That would bring five people here, as well as bringing himself back. He hoped they would be enough. He slipped one of the rings onto his finger. He blinked, and when he opened his eyes he was no longer in that small room that was more like a closet. Instead, he was outside in a small alleyway. He was grateful no one had seen him... Until someone from the end of the alley called out to him. "If you're doing drugs, you'll be arrested."
Adam smiled. "I'm not, thanks for the tip, though. Actually, I'm looking for some help..."

It was easy enough to convince the guy that he told the truth. He brought him to his world, and talked with him a while as they walked down the street in the strange new one. He had to make sure that this boy was up for what he was going to propose. "My world is ruled by an evil tyrant. I have more rings, you can bring others as well... Ultimately, he hopes to rule every dimension. If I was brought here by the rings, this place may be next. Would you help?"
It was a while, but then the young man nodded. "Yes." He reached towards Adam for the rings. Adam passed them over.
"I have to go, or I'll be missed."
"Wait, you never said your name. Mine is Alex," the boy said, but then the presence was gone, and he was walking down the street alone with five rings that would teleport him to an alternate dimension.

[Gifted]

"I'm gonna beat you, Sander!" Gabriel laughed, racing the boy down the street. Despite being several years younger, the other boy was keeping pace, only a few steps behind him.
"Gabriel, you're more of a kid than I am." Sander complained. Gabriel grinned and sped up, easily outstripping Sander's speed and widening the distance between them "Hey no fair man, you have longer legs! Wait up!"
"After that comment? Not a chance!" Gabriel laughed, loving the feel of the wind in his hair. "See you back home!" He left Sander in his dust.
Or at least went a few blocks away. He probably shouldn't ditch the kid he was supposed to be babysitting. Still, it'd be fun to watch.

[Raven]

Alex heard pounding footsteps growing louder. Someone running down the sidewalk toward him. He tried to step out of the way, but the man was coming so quickly he couldn't tell where to dodge to.

[Gifted]

By the time Gabriel saw him it was too late. Gabriel tried to skid to a stop but he ploughed straight into the guy. "Woah!"
He hit the ground, his head aching. "Oh my gosh, I am so, so sorry."

[Neon]

Nicholas Dimitrius I bowed to the man who had come to conquer their lands. With him was a stunning, lithe young woman in a blood red gown that matched her eyes, and long snow coloured hair tied up in intricate braids, barely lighter than her pale skin. She curtsied as the king began to speak, never taking her eyes off the floor.

"Your Highness, I present to you, as a token of our peaceful surrender, my daughter. She is a basilisk, and as such completely impervious to any forms of poison, making her an optimal food tester. She is also very talented with a needle and thread, and even made the dress she is wearing. I sincerely hope she pleases you."

He bowed again and none too gently pushed his young companion forward towards the man.

[Raven]

Alex fell backwards, landing hard on his butt, but managing to avoid hitting his head because he threw his arms back to catch himself. "Uh!" he cried as he hit the ground. After a second, he answered. "It's fine. I was in the way." He pushed himself to his feet and then held his hand out towards the man, at what may have been an awkward angle to help him up.

Kenny raised an eyebrow. He inclined his head to the girl. "What is your name?" he asked her, ignoring the man.

[Neon]

She was about to reply but her father cut her off.
"Vladia. Just Vladia."

[Raven]

"I wasn't asking you," Kenny said scathingly, without looking at the man. "Well?" he inquired, more kindly from the girl.

[Neon]

She still did not look up and whispered softly,
"V-Vladia, sire..."

[Gifted]

It was an extremely awkward angle, but that was when Gabriel noticed the kid was blind. He felt ten times worse and took the mans hand. When he got to his feet, he noticed the rings the blind man had been carrying were scattered all over the street. "Oh, you dropped your rings. Here, let me help you. I'm sorry again." He began retrieving them.

[Raven]

"I said it was fine," Alex said, getting down and feeling around for them. "Are there five? I can't lose them..." This was the worst. He had no trouble with bigger things, but such tiny objects didn't make an echo for his benefit.

"It's nice to meet you, Vladia. I'm Kenny." He smiled. "Why are you so nervous?"

[Gifted]

"Um, I can't tell... I see three so far." He picked two up when Sander tapped him on the shoulder.
"Ha! Caught you!"
Gabriel laughed. "I guess you did. Alright, run along kid, I'll catch up to you. It's my turn to catch you."
"You got it, Gabe!" Sander ran off.
Gabriel chuckled. "Crazy kid."

[Neon]

Vladia trembled slightly and merely shrugged.

Nicholas decided to once again answer for her.
"Being in your presence seems to have effected her, excellency. I do apologize," he added, patting her shoulder.

[Raven]

"Who is he?" Alex asked, curiously. He listened as the younger boy left, but didn't turn his head.

Kenny gently lifted her chin so she had to look in his eyes. "You have nothing to fear from me, do you understand?" He looked through all her memories as their eyes met.
