"We'd have to do some research to figure out how much time that gives us, but it's a safe bet it's quite a bit. And you're not a minor anymore, so if he's continued to beat you its now called assault and that a whole other separate charge and he can get convicted of both. so really we've got him on at minimum three charges."

"If we time it when the police are in the Devil's Advocates pocket then they have to care. If they let a Saint walk free the gang bribing them will come down hard on them. Don't you remember what happened to the last cop who refused to accept bribes from the Devils Advocates? Now imagine if that guy had taken the money and done what he wanted anyway."
