Maria, obviously offended, opened her mouth to retort, when she heard her sister softly say "Maria, it's fine... Back off..." at which point she stood up straight, and with a nod to Quincy, motioned Houndoom back, and rested her hand at the top of her head, and without replying to Ryan, found a chair to sit on, and sat. When ready, she looked at him. "So, what was it you needed Quincy for?"
Ivy watched Maria, and felt a pang of guilt. She knew she told her to stop, but she should have said something sooner. Looking up towards Ryan, she softly asked "Is there a store of machine that sells water, or potions?" she was planning on stealing some to help her Kirlia, as she didn't want to be gone for too long. Afterwards, she looed to Quincy, gratitude shining in her eyes for him protecting them. "She's alright, thanks..." Looking to Mienshao, she smiled. "Go stand with Maria, Kay?..." at which she did.

"I have a few," Ryan answered, recalling his Lapras. He went into the other room, though he was gone for a while longer, and when he came back, Sneasel and Arcanine weren't with him. He handed Ivy a super potion. "I actually have a job for you, if you'll take it," Ryan said to Quincy.
