[Sparrow]

“But did you automatically trust them?” Nix questions.

[Gifted]

"Oh, um... the lava-dragon-thing," Cristel said. "I wouldn't really call it defeating, since all I did was go up and grab the thing off its head, but still... I've already gotten back one symbol."

[Sparrow]

Cicerone shakes his head.
“I see how you could mistake that.”
He slides backwards around another picture, one of a cobra with parrots wings.
“That was not a boss, just an opponent.”
Quietly he slides to a stop, looking side to side to determine where they are.

[Raven]

"Not the mole," Alexis admitted. "And when the rabbit tried to bite me I threw a penny at him."

[Gifted]

"well thats dumb," she snapped. "I had to battle a giant plant thing just to get at the stupid thing! You'd think whatever guarded the smbol would be the boss,"

[Sparrow]

Nix nods,
“See, gaining trust is the key.” he tilts to the side then quickly turns around and sprints a short distance before turning to face her again.
“In this game you need to be cautious.”
He nods happily.


Cicerone nods,
“I know right?” he faces her.
Pointing a finger in the air he says,
“This is how it works. There are several levels; I’m not sure how many I just know there are at least two. In each level there are zones. In each zone is a symbol, In order to get the symbol you need to gain what the point of getting the symbol is. The more symbols you gather, the higher your chances of getting to the end is.”
He nods then looks back to the distance, towards the yellow water.
Then he adds on,
“Also in each zone there are enemies and there are guides. There are also false enemies and false guides.”

"Welll isn't that irritating," Cristel mumbled. "So it's like those retarded Mario videogames, with level 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and so forth. That sucks. We almost there?" She wondered if he was a false guide, but then if he was why would he have told her about false guides?

[Raven]

"I learned that the hard way... Y'see, there was this coyote, and he led me to get eaten by this huge worm-thing..." Alexis was struggling to remember if she got a hint on every level. "So, how do I know you're not leading me into a trap?" she challenged.

[Sparrow]

Nix tilts to the left almost falling over.
“You don’t, that’s the thing.” he says conclusively.
Then standing upright he takes a few steps back.
“For all you know I could just be stalling you.”

[Sparrow]

Cicerone turns to continue towards the yellow water.
“I’m not sure; you see the symbol changes where it is from time to time, at least once a day.” he says sliding over to the boarder of the yellow water. He hesitates before crossing the border, when he does he seem to be forced down. The area with yellow water has extremely high gravity.
“We have to check each area until we find who has it.”
He takes a few heavy steps forward.
“Hopefully he won’t have it.”

[Gifted]

"hopefully who won't have it?" Cristel asked curiously.

[Sparrow]

Cicerone continues on.
“The same one who is keeping me here.”
He peers back to them,
“The Host called it Abhor.”

[Gifted]

"What IS it?" Cristel clarified the question. "Is it a lion? Wolf? Dragon? Snake?"

[Sparrow]

“Its like a dragon-snake-vampiric thing. That’s huge, but I’m small so it may not seem so big to you.”
He crosses over to the purple water. This area has bone-dry air. The ground is covered almost entirely with pictures.

".....hm... Komodo Dragon, maybe?" Cristel said, speculating. "Assuming its a real creature at all..."
Yaz was looking at the pictures.
