Pixel crouched and crept over. "Vulpix!" he called, spinging to land in front of Haylee. Eevee twitched her ears.

Flaaffy playfully tackled Pixel and Haylee, her fur rubbing against theirs to produce a small amount of static electricity. As they were playing, a nurse walked up to James, and handed him his Pokeballs. He accepted them with a thanks, and put them in his backpack.
James looked up at Teale. "No, I'm not saying that," he said, sighing, "it's just... Well, if this doesn't let up, how're we supposed to get to the tournament in time?" He glanced down at his open backpack at Lanturn's Pokeball. Hmm...

Teale sighed, looking at her pokeballs too. She had one pokemon who might make it in the storm ((scyther)) if she hung on and one she knew could make it ((tentacruel)) but it was ridiculous to go herself. "I don't know, James," she said, taking out the two Pokeballs and staring at them. "I don't know..."

Listening to their conversation Ryuk, quietly reached his hand toward Crawdaunt's poke ball... if they did leave he would tag along.

James reached into his backpack, and pulled out Lanturn's Pokeball.
"I'll go if you guys are up for it," he said, smirking. Anything for a story or a couple of shots, right?

Sabrina pulled her knees up to her chest, then rested her chin on them. It was amazing how little space she took up like that.

The poke ball expanded and Ryuk looked at the others, he was ready to go at any time, he was certain his Crawdaunt could handle it.

Teale nodded. "Sure, why not. And I have two Pokemon I think are up for it, Sabrina, you can ride on scyther," with that she threw Scythers pokeball to the ground and Scyther came out. "Hey Scyther, you think you could get Sabrina across?" she asked him. Scyther nodded in agreement. "Okay, if you get tired you can rest on Tenta cruel," she paused and turned to the playing pokemon. "This is gonna be a crazy journey Haylee, yyou don't want to be out here for this," Haylee, taking the hint, got back in her pokeball. Picking up Scythers Pokeball, she went outside and released Tentacruel into the waves. ((Betcha Sabrina's glad she didn't take James's word for it and battle me!  )) |

Ryuk smiled and threw the poke ball in his hand, a large, ferocious looking Crawdaunt stepped out, It banged its claws together and snapped a few times as it shouted," Crawdaunt, Craw!" I gently patted Raven's head and spoke to her," I'm going to have to make you stay in your ball for a bit, don't worry I'll let you out as soon as I'm able. He withdrew her and then stood up watching the others, Crawdaunt pressed itself against Ryuk's leg.

James followed the others, pack secured on his back, and released Lanturn from his Pokeball. The fish landed with a splash in the surf a few feet away from Tentacruel. Flaaffy ran after him, but was scooped up by her trainer. She frowned, and crossed her arms, refusing to look at him as he spoke.
"You're not a water type," James said, sighing, "It's too dangerous. Not only that, but your tail's practically a lightning rod." He reached over his shoulder, and grabbed Flaaffy's Pokeball. She whacked it away with the bulb of her tail. James groaned, and turned Flaaffy to face him after putting the ball back in his backpack. "Just stay with Sabrina, okay?"
Flaaffy bleated ecstatically. She leaped out of James' arms and ran back to the Pokemon Center, scrambling onto Scyther's back and holding tightly.

Sabrina laughed. "Okay, Flaaffy. Pixel, Eevee, you two need to get back in your pokeballs." "Vuuul," Pixel agreed. Sabrina returned them, then put the balls in her bag. "You had better behave, Flaaffy, or I'll have James put you back in your pokeball as well."

"Alright. Let's go!" Teale cried, climbing carefully onto the top of Tentacruel. Tentacruel started to swim into the waves, towards where Teale thought the island was. Scyther looked back to make sure Sabrina was on.

Ryuk smiled and walked over to the ocean, Crawdaunt leaped into the water making a large splash. Ryuk quickly hopped onto the crab Pokemon's shelled back and held onto the center horn to keep his balance.

James waded out into the ocean, careful to keep his backpack above water. He grabbed onto Lanturn and held him by the antennae. Murmuring a hopeful prayer to Arceus, he clung to Lanturn, and directed him to follow Tentacruel. Meanwhile, Flaaffy was thoroughly enjoying herself on top of Scyther.
