He nodded and went in to Nurse joy, who began treated his injured Pokemon. He looked around to the other three and wondered if they were all on about the same level as James in terms of battling.

Teale nodded at James and went inside also, setting Haylee carefully oon the floor. "Oh, I hope this storm lets up soon," she murmured.

[FoxTrott]

James walked into the Pokemon Center, dragging Flaaffy in by the tail. Bleating, she jumped onto a window sill, and pressed her front paws against the glass, staring outside. James gave his Pokeballs to the nurse, and was left holding two. He pressed the button on one of the capsules and released Luxray. The Pokemon glared up at him, pawed over to the door, and sat by it.

"They don't," James said, sighing. He collapsed into a chair, and stared outside.

[Raven]

Sabrina sat next to James and let Pixel and Eevee out of their pokeballs. "He scares me," she whispered to her cousin.

[Dokeshi]

Ryuk sat across from the two and let Raven out of her poke ball again, who decided to jump into his lap. He gently stroked her feathers and spoke to her," You did good today Raven thank you."

[FoxTrott]

James turned to Sabrina. "Same," he whispered back with a vigorous nod. He was about to add something when a clap of thunder briefly shook the Pokemon Center. Flaaffy nearly fell off the window sill, and Luxray's ears perked.

The storm definitely wasn't going to let up anytime soon, but they still needed to get to the tournament... The question was, how?

[Raven]

"How can anyone treat his pokemon that badly in battle?" Sabrina hissed. "Even if it is to attack your pokemon more, it's just... evil."

[Gifted]

Teale sat there, in silence, listening to Sabrina whisper to James. She couldn't catch very much, but she could tell these to didn't like Ryuk's style of dueling. Teale had to admit it was a little crazy, but she didn't care. It was intense. James had just particpated in a battle like that of which she'd been waiting for for a long time.

Nevertheless, she could see why some people would dislike his battling style, and did not speak up to defend or support them, just simply sat there in silence, holding her Chikorita close.

"Some people just want to win, no matter what," James whispered back, frowning. Ryuk looked like he took perfect care of his Pokemon outside of battle, but what a trainer did in battle generally influenced what they did out of battle. James sighed, and leaned his head on his fist.

Flaaffy jumped off of the window sill, and sat down. This was boring. They were stuck inside until the storm blew over, with nothing to do... She gave a sheep-like sigh. Flaaffy looked up at the Chikorita, and bleated, trying to get her attention.

Haylee heard Flaaffy. "Chiko!" she said, jumping out of Teale's arms. Teale wasn't worried, Haylee just wanted to explore. "Stay out of trouble, you," she told her Chikorita, who noded and went over to Flaaffy wih a small smile on her face.

[FoxTrott]

Flaaffy bent down, and raised her haunches. She bleated happily, and waggled her hindquarters, trying to get the Chikorita to play with her. Luxray glanced at her and sighed before returning to glaring out the glass door.

"So..." James said, searching for a topic of conversation, "What should we do? About the storm, I mean. We could try to wait it out..."

[Raven]

Sabrina smiled. "Sometimes, you should learn to dance in the rain, James... Sometimes, you have to stay inside so you won't get struck by lightning, or zapped by your cousin's electric pokemon."

[Gifted]

Teale laughed. "Very true, but I'm starting to wonder if it'll let up in time for the tournament. But James, are you saying you want to brave this storm with just your pokemon? You think you could make it?"
Haylee's smile got wider and she jumped from one side of Flaaffy and then the other, perfectly willing to play.

[Raven]

Pixel watched Flaaffy and Haylee. He wanted to play, too, so he trotted over to them. "Vuuulpix! Pix, pix!" he cried. Sabrina was surprised at how loud he was. "Geez, Pixel, quiet down, will ya?" she said.

"Oh, he's just having fun, let them be," Teale laughed as haylee becokoned Pixel over by nodding her head slightly and smiling
